What an eye-opening experience for your parents to see them interact with people in Sapa is incredible, especially your mother getting along with Mai. Her English is really good, and to hold a conversation, I'm easily impressed.. thank you for showing us another way to experience Vietnam in a different light.. 15:05 you have certainly perfected the Asian squat
I am so glad you took your parents to experience Sapa and I enjoyed your videos just as much without a camera crew , just you and your phone 👍. Lily, that is a great name.
I really enjoyed this tour. I'm a 72-year-old woman living in New Hampshire. ...not into the arm wrestling so much but Vietnamese culture is so interesting. Thank you for this video! Loved it!
The local lady spoke English so well much better than City people in Saigon or Hanoi.. Even better than a lot of Vietnamese immigrants living in the US
thank you for showing all of us another side of Vietnam that people including myself have never seen. I need to go back to Vietnam its been over 40 years - sad to say 😞
Ive been all over VIetnam, Cambodia and Laos (Next Trip Thailand), I have a super lame travel UA-cam channel lol but I always think it would be great to take my parents, they have traveled Europe. I would love to see their reaction to real 3rd world countries to see something not western at all, but Im afraid my dad is too confrontational for southeast asians I can see him arguing and maybe getting arrested because he keeps raising his voice and my mom I dont think would handle the restroom situations very well or the shower with the bucket. Maybe I am underestimating them but Its super exciting to see how your parents are doing in Vietnam
Vietnamese ppl can get loud too! And if you spoke and understood the language, a lot of things already just SOUND like an argument. There are also many modern bathrooms with modern showers and modern toilets and all, especially in the big cities where it’s developing rapidly, but still so rich in culture and traditions 😊😊😁😁😁 And don’t be so NEGATIVE about your channel. 😊😊
@kindasortamaybe92 last time i went i stayed outside of Can Tho south of Ho chi Minh and the restroom situation was bad. I pooped in either the mekong or in a wooden box over a pond or just a trench most of the time. Oh trust me i know about them getting loud but they don't take foreigners getting loud very well. Then again when i stayed there for those 6 months it was 2007 so maybe the smaller cities like can tho or hoa binh have toilets now but they didn't then
I can't imagine the pride and joy your parents must be experiencing sharing this with you, their "child", observing and enjoying the "fruits of their labor" .. beautiful family and thank you for sharing 🙌✌️💚💖 And edit: dog I'm going to eat you! 😂😂 my cousin lived in Ha Noi for a few years, when my aunt went to visit, she "stole" (paid for and ran away with) a puppy. 20 years ago... They named it Morsel. Cultural differences aside, it makes for a really funny story ✌️
chúc bố mẹ bạn một chuyến du lịch vùng cao việt nam. chúc gia đình bạn đi chơi vui vẻ hạnh phúc trong cuộc sống gặp nhiều may mắn và thành công

Wonder where did the young lady learn to speak such good English?
She learned through her work and interacting with foreigners. She's also highly motivated to learn as it helps her a lot
Thank you. Another great UA-cam of your parents experiences!
*_She speaks English so well, even though she is on the highland area_* 😲
Trời thương hai bác quá :)) Em leo đỉnh Fan 5 lần rồi, mà lần nào trời cũng mù mịt sương. Nay 2 bác lần đầu lên mà gặp quả thời tiết quá đẹp luôn.

Dustin, how come you have only around 12k subscribers? Are you still keeping your Vietnam meets Dustin channel? That one had at least 700k.

Tuyệt hay anh ơi :)😊
Lilly first said she was 45, but she turned out to be 60!
Maybe Dustin made her confused, I don't think she understands Vietnamese
I was confused too
She is Hmong or Giay ethnic and common Vietnamese is not her mother language
