It's not like they hate Blue Lock, it's more that they hate the higher ups who didn't give enough time and budget to the animators. Build up was good in this episode and made people hype. Let's see for the next few episodes.
It's because some people think every anime should look like demon slayer..... I can understand some complaints about this season but it's not bad considering other animes out there 😁
The GOAT actually interacted with the other teams goalkeeper, and I love it...but one thing is true that bluelock is good at creating hype over hype but not actually delivering on it...
yeah, we know animation is not gonna be like we wanted, but still, is getting a little better with each episode, and as a manga reader, the story, ost and voice acting is still great. this is the best arc in the manga and even with the animation problems, i got hype so much hype with this episode. Blue Lock not matter what, is gonna be forever one of my favorites animes of all time.

@@Richardwho-vv5bh that's because NEL is still ongoing. If i read u-20 arc while it was on-going, I wouldn't like it as much. I read u-20 arc once it was all out. Then I waited and read NEL arc till it was done with ubers vs BM. I fcking enjoyed the heck out of NEL. Seeing foreigners play is the best part of blue lock. Especially kaiser.
Cool detail I noticed, in the opening where Shidou is featured and where the ending where Shidou is featured, prior to this episode he was wearing a blue jersey, and in this episode, its white. Neat that they updated it
the glaze on Sae and Oliver was crazy, but very valid. you alredy saw this episode how crazy is Oliver "The Wall of Japan" Aiku. now wait for Sae Itoshi next episode, and see why he is one of the World 11 Heros.
Bluelock is my favourite anime. I have the ost in my clock alarm. Maybe the animation must could be better but it doesn't matter because i always enjoy every chapter 🙂
Fun fact: in the manga, shidou was actually introduced before the end of the 2nd selection. Around the time isagi plays against the world top 5, shidou has his initial introduction and he even plays a little. Now that we've started the match, I don't see the anime covering that anymore and that makes me sad
Yeah I was shocked when I went to read the World 5 match in the manga and it suddenly switched to Kunigami's perspective. Although, not having that in the anime does create a genuine shock when you don't see Kunigami after the selection. I do wish we could have gotten a flashback to that game tho.

@@krishnasdc I’m enjoying the story despite the animation problems my opinion on the whole situation though is that I wish the studio gave the animators enough time to cook especially cause I’ve heard from the fans that this arc is one of the best ones but I guess it is what it is😅
Well that just shattered all the hope the fans had with the whole ''they saving budget for the U20 match''. Guess what buddy....they said 'SIKE YOU THOUGHT'
I'm not making excuses for the animation. It should be better. But people are still haters if they didn't feel hyped for the game. The voice acting and music still elevates the story. Even if the anime is just a glorified e-book at this point. I'm still enjoying the story. But Blue Lock still deserves good animation for such a peak manga. Let's hope the franchise can be saved. my 2 cents.

This arc is one of the best arc in blue lock if not the best! Its my favorite arc and to see people rate it a 6/7 is so painful for me 😭 this arc is a fcking 100000000000000000
This episode was an 8.5/10. It’s super interesting to see how everyone is getting captured by the group think of the “Blue Lock is cooked” UA-camrs that just happen to notice their views went up 10 fold after that title. There’s no getting around the fact that episode 2 was insane trash that is one of the worse anime episodes of all-time (the episode the clown that won’t stop taking interviews worked on) but aside from 2 and a most of three this season has been pretty much on par with the back half of season 1. Definitely better than the trash movie that they rushed out for a quick buck. To be clear though, I would do the same thing as the shameless Blue Lock UA-camrs if I covered a niche show that only has a small window to make money. It’s just embarrassing how everyone’s mailable brains have sheeped right into their trap.
Genuinely this episode was good , the hype was real, haters will be everywhere majority of them are manga readers, like seriously let the anime only people enjoy
yes the animation is bad but I'm still gonna wait for some best goals and the sequence of animation that would lead to it. if that's still bad im giving up as well

Yeah I really expected that to be shown (or maybe teased) back in S2E1, after Igaguri commented that it was Shidou who kicked out Kunigami
