This is what we need in order to learn anything
    no silly 3 minutes intro
    no trailers
    no music
    no unnecesary speech
no begging of comments and subscription and bell button
no low quality voice recorded in an echoing room
    no sponsors
    no advertisings
I watched all of the four videos in this channel and enjoyed every minute in them while lively applying the instructions
I am really sad that there are no more videos in the channel and I have to visit other channels to learn more

Seriously, I’ve watched a multitude of FreeCad tutorial videos but I just couldn’t absorb the contents or the speed it was given. I was discouraged and I was just about to stop trying to learn it, till I finally found your videos. The ease, the clarity… You have such a way to share your knowledge. I would add more positive comments but in a nutshell, please, please Jeff, don’t stop. I can’t wait to learn more.

    We need more Jeff.

I was about to stop using FreeCAD as the tutorials i used until now, didn't help as much as i would like.
Your tutorials are really well made, not too fast and not too slow so i become bored.
    Great work

Just in the 4 videos I've learned more then all the others I've watched combined. I think now I should be able to create my part I've been getting so frustrated in designing for the past 2 weeks. Can't wait for your new videos. New sub here🎉

This was the third set of FreeCAD tutorials I tried and the first one that clicked. I understood both the "what" and the "why". I occasionally had to go back a few seconds to watch a section over again, but your explanations made things clear. More importantly, I think I "got" the basics of FreeCAD. Sure, there's a huge amount still to learn but now I feel like I have a solid foundation. I think you've rewired my brain to "think" FreeCAD.
I'd absolutely love you to continue this series. I'm interested in modelling for 3d printing. If I want to print several separate parts, how would I do that in FreeCAD? What if I want my parts to join together? How about adding screws or screw holes? If you don't produce more episodes, you still have my very sincere thanks.

    Thanks, Jeff.
I'm really struggling with making some simple Dwell cams for my project. I need 3 cams 80mm dia. X 5mm thick with a positive dwell and three with a negative dwell. This seem like it should be simple, but I can't to find the correct tool combinations to make it happen.
    ei; Positive dwells, cam A+ = 270* to 360*, cam B+ = 66* - 186*. Negative dwells, A- = 105* to 350* , B- = 260* to 350* ,
These are used to trigger micro switches to turn motors on/off and prevent component collisions in old bowling machines. We're building an emulator/ tester.

Thank you Jeff for making these video's. I've been trying to be more efficient in FreedCad for awhile. While I can model everything I've attempted it's far from an efficient way to do it, in other words I do it the hard way. After watching your video's I have learned so much.

How can I sign in to FreeCad if they do not accept my username or passwood. Being retired, I would like to start 3d printing along with FreeCad. Is there some one I can talk to or something I have to do to get into FreeCad before I get too old to care ??

Jeff, you have the knowledge to teach. The absolute best CAD exercise I've seen. Your voice is clear and it doesn't go too fast. It's easy to follow along and the way you build up what you want to teach means that it creates a basis for continuing on your own. So good! Looking forward to following you. I will recommend your channel to anyone who wants to do 3D printing and use FreeCAD for carpentry, metal work and building drawings. I'm really looking forward to seeing your tutorials on the different workbenches in FreeCAD

As a PhD who spent many years at university I can say that knowledge of a subject and ability to explain it to students are two totally different skills which rarely overlap. Jeff is an unique example of a person combining both.

These videos have been very welcome. As many others have experienced, I've watched a heap of UA-cam tutorials on Freecad but these are crisp, concise, well delivered and above all open up FreeCad in a practical manner. Thank you very much and please keep them coming.

Thank you so much, very clear and simple and i really hope you will continue to make these helpful videos. I would like to make a request for a tutorial on gears and holes for - or on a shaft. The ones i have found have seamed almost arcane - or is it that manipulating gears is freecad really is difficult? It's pretty easy to find how to draw a shape and then pad it out, but not this - or am i just stupid?

Your voice is just right, pace isn't rushed and you don't, THANK the gods, keep injecting pointless off topic information. My poor old brain (63y) can actual keep up.

I have been watching recently a lot of FreeCad videos. Majority of authors are strong professionals in FreeCad but they totally lack teaching skills. They start with crafting overly complicated shapes and than quickly switch through most crucial moments, like attaching sketch to a plane or using hotkeys. Contrary, Jeff sticks to very simple shapes and demonstrates the concept of operation. I also like his demonstrations of using various tools to make the same operation. Jeff, please continue the channel. Maybe you want to set up some donations option as well.
