I saw him 34 years ago open for Loverboy, Don is 50% of the singer he used to be...but still fun to watch, he is having a good time and his songs still rock of course. His musicians were tight.
@@katebenson3009 I agree with you, he still has a beautiful voice. He just doesn't have the range to hit any high notes any more, Don said this himself on Blabbermouth. I'm going to give everyone that plans on attending a Dokken concert some advice here; FORGET about how the songs sounded in the 80's and just enjoy the show. Don sings the songs differently now and yes, without the powerful highs but still sings great and Jon Levin is awesome and the guitar solo he is doing on this current tour is incredible, I was AMAZED by it.
@@martinsalrzar5648 Exactly! You get it. At this point, you aren't going for a high energy, fast paced heavy metal show. You are going to appreciate the music as it is. At least thats the way I see it. I'd way rather see Don try anyday than see backing tracks or autotune
That's good footage, I don't remember seeing you. Where were you in front?
I was in the first seat in row 1 on the far right. Right before the round booth tables
Jon Levin--lawyer by day, rock guitarist by night! So cool!

woah that guitarist kicks ass
Go Don!!!! You rarely see him with a guitar but he still plays very well.
I like Don's voice when he talks to the audience & announces the next song ... he could be the next president of the US :)
He wouldn't. He is trying to live a stressless life after cancer
Love docking
It is a "Pretty Damn Cool Song"
Too bad Don can't sing anymore...
F'sho...
Actually, he can sing. I was there, the video is fine but doesn't do Don justice. You have to hear him in person to get the best experience out of it.

@@katebenson3009 Couldn't have said it better myself. Totally agree with you there
