I am a non-denominational Christian, but I am very drawn to Catholic ideology. It seems much more scripturally true and reverent towards Mary and those who were martyred for the faith. The Bible speaks of saints, why don't Protestants believe in them?
Protestants do believe in saints, but like the bible says, ALL believers are saints. It's not a special name for "extra special" believers, but all believers. Catholics practically worship their "saints", not realizing the fact that its simply a term for the whole body of Christ.
Very interesting point. I am similarly non-dominanational. I think the Protestant Church reject a lot of the cultural expressions that other churches embrace.
Thank you Matt for your relationship with Mother Natalia. I have kind of a similar story (This will be a digest version). My parents Baptized me and my two siblings when we were babies. I remember going to Church on Sundays when I was very young. I’m the oldest of the three. My mother was crippled by a spinal cord injury when I was about 7 or 8 years old. There was no formal declaration. But my mother’s injury was enough of a trauma to the family that we just drifted away and stopped going to Church. My siblings and I never received Holy Communion or Confirmation. Fast forwarding. In my Senior year of high school, my maternal grandmother passed away. The funeral Mass was the start of my adult journey to the faith. In my college years, I had a car now and started dating. The issues and break ups compelled me to finally reach out. I went through the RCIA and received First Holy Communion and Confirmation at age 20, going on 21. Fast forward to 2021. Four days after Mother Natalia made her Life Profession to the Monastery, on October 2, 2021 I made my three year Profession in the 3rd Order Dominican Laity. (At age 51 😉 ) I know it’s not the same. But kind of similar. I have been enjoying the clips with Sister/Mother Natalia because I take my Tertiary Profession seriously as did my Patron, Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati. Watching these clips are very edifying for me. Thank you. 🙏🙏
Hey Matt! I am new to the channel. I've been watching the episodes and it's truly a pleasure to listen to you and your guests. I learn a lot from all of you! This interview with Sister Natalia was especially inspiring, especially because she was so honest with all of her struggles. Hope she comes back to the show soon! Thanks for all of your hard work, Matt! God is doing something amazing through you.

Matt, please talk about Religious SCRUPULOSITY on a video!!! I want your thoughts on the subject. There isn’t a lot said about it but some people could really be helped.
For all my scrupulous brothers and sisters, I believe this is the video they're referring to. ua-cam.com/video/BYz9fqCZeFI/v-deo.html. I agree that it'd be good and for Matt to do a more in-depth video on the topic, maybe with a Catholic psychologist/psychiatrist well-versed in treating OCD. If you're reading this, Matt, please consider it-your insight would be appreciated :)!
Pray for the answers that you seek regarding this. Do not let people dictate malice into you and let God direct you. Believe first tthst your prayers will be answered as long as you have a pure heart about it
I walked out of my parish because they had lost their way. It became a middle class privilege and as a 16yr old could not get over the hypocrisy. Even today I can not connect to the parish. My faith tends to be very private.

I’ve never had so much genuine affection for a woman I’ve never met.
I have gained many things from this channel.
It's amazing that these two people have possibly met each other before and now are talking to each other again.
Please check out the movie ALL OR NOTHING SR. CLARE CROCKETT.
Beautiful testimony of sister Clare. I love AND pray for her AND to her.

The operative word "uncathechised". 💜✝️✝️✝️
That SEEK conference was in 2013. I was there, life changing for me.
Christ has a good one here. She seems like such a genuine, warm person. I'm sure she has and will continue to touch many lives.
Sr. Natalia has a beautiful heart! Both happy for her, and sad, that she's a nun. Men need more women like her in the marriage pool. In Christ, Andrew

I get what you’re saying. God chooses the best for himself!
Don't feel sad. Plenty of good women are looking for marriage.

Sounds like a FOCUS intervention
Beautiful interview 😊

I’m not yet received into the Church. When I go to the Church, there is a”heaviness” I feel. Is that Gods prescience I’m feeling?
The heaviness is most likely the weight of sin and the world and an unknown yearning Christ. Please go.

Yes , If you take a bucket of water from well it feels heavy . You are receiving grace from Eucharistic.

My faith tends to be very private.
The two closest ones to my house are like that too.
Found a little one in neighboring town that is virtuous and kind.
How old is Sr Natalia?
I mean if you bring your date to church and they decide to become a nun, you have to ask yourself if you're really on your A game.
I'm a Christian I'm considering joining the Catholic Church but still have some issues. Probably not a nun tho
