how to get hooked for coding 1. MAKE STREAK 2. MAKE IT EASY 3. MAKE IT FUN - ENJOY WHAT YOU CREATE 4. MAKE CHECKLIST 5. NOVALITY - CHECKOUT NEW PROJECTS
Novelty is the one thing which keeps me motivated. So far i have worked with more than 5 programming languages. Gained experience in different domains like cyber security, backend development, frontend development, mobile app development using react native, serverless architectures, Devops, system administration and AI I have used different liux distributions like ubuntu, zorin, kali linux, amazon linux, cent os and many more. Building some amazing side projects.
6:34 This I think is one of the biggest keys to actually making progress. If you have other ways of easily getting the dopamine hit, then coding isn't going to be your go-to way to get it. Having the discipline to make coding your route to those other dopamine hits, as well as being one in and of itself, is super important. Enjoyed the video.
Bhaiya, this streak maintaining thing is real. I've fallen into this. And, I never knew ki mere ko itna DSA aata hai. Thanks for bringing out this POV into these. Working on ML(theory + code + projects) and MERN for GSOC'25 simultaneously. Thanks for the motivation.
I feel this one since August when I started doing playwright test automation. I can from Manual qa background and I find coding automation challenging. It's addicting that i have to code even weekends
can you think about a average student perspective and prepare a DSA sheet, this should cover all topics, it should gradually increase the toughness, it should be such that student, should never lose hope and discontinue
Honestly I love the video and the approaches you said. I am definitely looking forward to it and starting to get coding dopamine hits ❤ your video motivate me to do focus in coding and improve my skills 😊
@@BhavaniKumbar-t7dwell, 1. Take actions without caring about time. You can reward yourself with small things too after completing the task. 2. Missing your schedule is fine(for me, this is the most important) most ppl will feel demotivated if they keep thinking, they can keep up with their schedule. 3. Building habit takes around 21days but if you keep thinking like, "I will do it for 21days daily, it will become my habit automatically." No, it won't. You need to accept it and try to do it daily. As I said, missing schedule is fine, no one can be 100% disciplined. 4. Don't miss your schedule intentionally. 5. Mediate daily and learn about brain tbh. It's you, how you decide, either be successful or not. It's you deciding about your future.
if you are counting it , you have no interest in coding but the package it offers ! sadly I have the same problem and the video is teaching us to see coding as an opportunity to create something innovative .
Thanks a lot sir, playing games or social media they made my time less to coding a lot. This will help me to let coding more and make my dreams job to be real soon.
Nice video bro! can you provide us with that chart of web developing tasks? seems interesting. For people who just started i think a roadmap is a good start to keep track of our archivements. Thanks again for the video!!
I really think like you, but the technicalities you explained about mind (novelty ,how dopamine works ) really blow my Mind. I found out you are a great Thinker. You achieved big life lessons in this small age only. I am really happy to learn from you.
Could you make a video on taking software-related notes? Starting DSA soon and need tips on what to write under each topic, after solving problems, and how to identify corner cases. Thanks! 😊
Hello ashish, I am currently facing some confusion. I have 3.5 years of experience in the same company, and I now have the opportunity to work on a project from scratch as a Java developer. As part of this, I have been offered a 3-month onsite assignment. Should I accept this opportunity or decline it to stay back and prepare for a job switch? My concern is that after completing the onsite, I will have 4 years of experience, and interviews may become more challenging. What should I do? Please advise.
I remeber i was able to build old snake game (one which as on nokia keypad phones) using C++ language five or six years ago when i enrolled myself for industrial training in an institute. But completely forgot now. How can coding be more fun than pressure.
Bro, thanks for sharing.. One thing, is the laptop, macbook pro M4 ? Please share the details of your laptop. I wanted to purchase macbook with the same laptop configuration you have for coding.

awesome video but i dont play video games for the win, i play them cause they are fun to play, now how do i make coding more "fun to play" or spend time coding

Obsession is the key to success actually. You just need to get obsessed to the correct thing.
Right! There is no formula. Its just obsession and nothing more!

This is indeed helping. Thank you very much for this simple and effective approach.
