Ah what a wonderful first Flosstube! So many beautiful stitches and charts that are unknown to me and I want to go and investigate - I love the Puffin chart especially! It was so lovely to meet Fanny on Zoom at the weekend although only hearing your voice for much of it I thought you were American! Such perfect English both of you! Going over to Flosstube number 2 now! Happy stitching x

I (Fanny) have learned English from American accents I’ve heard all my life and lived in the states for quite some time, this should explain the influence :)

I am really trying to stay jolly, but I might just be doing Winter in July because I haven't been into most Christmas patterns -- I do have a lavender and lace Santa somewhere and also Boomerang Stitches' Great White Christmas, so there are options. Love seeing what you're working on. I have a mill hill flower that I've sorted all the beads for but haven't started...

I noticed your English, it is amazing , to me it seems rather British for one of you and more of an American style for the other. Am I mistaken at all ? To answer your question : i have found the Theresa Wentzler in a flea market specialized in fabric and fiber arts. They are called "Puces de couturières" and they occure randomly on sundays a little bit everywhere in France.
