Just picked one of these up from a radio rally. Been well used, the volume control needed changing, although I think it needs a log pot rather than a linear one; the volume is quite load after only a few degrees turn. Someone replaced the external speaker jack with a cable. Is it normal for the channel switch to appear dicky? When I rotate it, it sometimes skips a channel or goes back one. It's easy enough to replace, just wanted to know if it's a design flaw with this type of rotary encoder. Love your videos, keep them coming. 73.
That's one suh-weet radio. How far do you think the ARTS system would work with an antenna at a good height, to keep you n contact with a FT-65 being portable? Also, does the 7900 have SSB? Thanks for sharing. 73. KC3UEE

Hi Many thnks its a great little set .
Great video. Can you link to a Bluetooth headset for this radio or the Rg45 connector
Use adapter on the headphone socket .
I literally have one new in the box that I was thinking of breaking out.
Perfect
