Considering the brand of Subs these are being hooked up to the power you have, I have to say I'm mightily impressed with their performance and they're well worth every dime for sure and have six of those in a box sealed with the right power and I bet they would sound really good and probably last quite some time

They could take a beating and take forever to cease up lol Definitely one of my favorites as well. One of the coolest things that I discovered with those subs. If you have a light near them and you pay close attention while they are playing. You can see the bass waves. Actual bass waves! Lol

I was very surprised by these, as you were I'd imagine. I used to do some torture tests like these back in 2006-2008 and only found a few 12's under $100ea that did anywhere near this good. Great video highlighting that with a quality power supply & delivery, quality box, and well tuned amp that even the most basic of subs can bang! Making me wanna go throw (6) Sundown 12's in my old Yukon XL and hit 155db like the good ol days. Appreciate the time you're putting into this.
I am definitely impressed. They had to be taking quite a lot over rated power handling for a while. Ive seen subs that cost 10 times as much not even handle rated power for that long. So good job Jensen.

They are 300 watts rms each so a total of 1,800 watts rms for all 6. But still, for what they are, they held up way longer than I was expecting them too. It's crazy

Hey check the coils with a multi meter especially the burned and sparking ones compared to the three over the ports those seemed to fair better may be an interesting 🤔 bit
Not sure if this has been said yet, but the cold weather and the subs being inverted so the coils cool faster is playing a role in the performance. With that said, I'm impressed at how much torture a $30 subwoofer has taken!
Good ol' Jensen! Iam still using a Jensen 1050 monoblock amp I bought new 6+years ago now pushing a single 10 dvc power acoustik mofo in a labyrinth box, that amp will just not die!
They did pretty good for $30 subs,bassin on a budget! If you want some nice thump at a low cost then those are the way to go, especially if don't plan on pushing them really hard.

The Sundown SIA amps are coming soon. Full bridge but regulated power supply (same power 1&2 ohms). They didn't announce any of the 3k+ models yet though I think. Taramps smart 5k and 8k (hopefully 12k sometime) coming too with same regulated power supply feature, better protection circuit than the MD and more. Sfb amps are close to a copy of the Soundigital amps design.
I had 2 Jensen 10s in the 90s that slammed. They came in bass tubes and I put them in a band pass box and they shined. They've always had fairly decent equipment.

You should try those Jensen amps too, awesome for the price and they put out more than rated crazy huh. I have the 4 channel and the mono in my trans am, the mono is pushing one Skar SDR-8 at 1ohm and it slams pretty good. Just picked up a 2 channel and another mono Jensen for another build I like them alot plus the fact you can tune them through your bluetooth app.
Those subs would have been top of the line in the 90's and probably cost $350 each. Those things were tough considering you were throwing 2000 watts over their rating. Think that's huge box with huge ports we're far from optional for those subs too.

Parker I’d like you to try and rachet your trunk closed super tight so the air doesn’t leak out the back. I picked up about 8 decibels with mine by doing that and I’m only running 2 12s on 1000 watts. It makes sense when u think about it. The air exits out the front windows instead of the gap around the trunk! Trust me you’ll notice a difference right after

Jensen has made quality P.A loudspeakers in the past, idk if these are no longer manufactured in USA ( everyone outside of USA always said the States, Japan and Britain were the BEST in business )
But if this brand is seen as a budget Speaker in the USA then im very surprised lol. Besides that?, those Jensen Speakers did well to go as long as they did
I just replaced 2 of these! Honestly not bad for 30 bucks not as good as urban audio 12s from the 90s but never the less they get pretty loud for the price.
Why would the amp blow if you had them wired for 4-5 ohms? If something shorts wouldn't it go into protect?

So these are 350w rms subs for $25 bucks. Cant beat that.👍

I tell you what if this video shows anything besides subs blowing up, it shows how much good clean power will keep a sub from just bursting. They were getting WAY over the rated power. Those cones were deforming alot too on the low lows! Great vid bro!
P.S. If you got the receipts for those subs go return them and get your money back, walmart has a return policy that should let you doit lol

Parker I’d like you to try and rachet your trunk closed super tight so the air doesn’t leak out the back. I picked up about 8 decibels with mine by doing that and I’m only running 2 12s on 1000 watts. It makes sense when u think about it. The air exits out the front windows instead of the gap around the trunk! Trust me you’ll notice a difference right after
Would be cool to see you test it and see if it gets u any louder with your meter!

why when it goes over 2500w the power clips and protects??? can you see the red lights on your power ? what's going on ? shouldn't it shoot 12,000 rms? is it because of being at 4ohm?
