    "I bought a thing... For no other reason than to have a laugh..." Scouts Out 2023
    Hahaha... That looks like a heap of fun man... Back in the day we used to have a "short track" race series in my old home town. I think there were 2 classes 125cc and 250cc. People used to buy old 2-strokes and mod them for the track and get down there on the weekend and race. A "cheap" and fun kinda grass roots type deal. Sometimes I miss those simpler times... Just a bunch of dude drinking beer in a garage trying to squeak a few extra horses out of a beater. families chilling in the sun zo the smell of 2-stroke and meat cooking on a fire... Shit like that needs to make a revivlal!

      😂😂😂 so true, yea man it’s a ton of fun and seriously good practice for the track. Drinking bier and squeezing out a little extra power sounds awesome I’m all in lol

    You need to retard the timing a couple of degrees, it will broaden the power band and give you more overrev but you will have to jet it richer on the main jet for more on top to keep the piston from burning up. Get a dial indicator that can be screwed into the the spark plug hole to dial in the timing at the stator plate adjustment.

    Thats definitely fun! Miss the sounds of two strokes, though I was so used to them in the dirt, not on the street or track.

    Sweet fun!! Back in the day I'd ride Stockton Supermoto practice, its a tight track, and Elena Myers had an 85 sm and was just as fast as my 450SM she was super young and ripping already!! 🤙

      Oh on that 2T remember if you arnt on the gas its not getting much lubrication so better to keep the RPM up a bit in the turns to keep feeding it fuel after being fully reved out down a long stright when its hot.

      Damn that’s cool man, it’s sad what happened to her. Ill work my way up to the 450 one of these days, such a great way to practice

      Yeah just thought i would bring it to your attention because you don’t mentioned it yourself but talks about the power band kicks in weird(funny enough with a fried clutch or lack of adjustment) and wanna change the gearing before even testing out how it performs without it slipping like crazy

  • @hellfire08
    @hellfire08 9 місяців тому +4

    Sounds like your clutch is slipping or something

    Your clutch is slipping badly, I thought my cr85 slipped bad before I adjusted it. Please dont ride the bike like that, it will cost you some money. Try adjusting the clutch lever bolt OUT.

      I don't know why he even rode the bike like that, what a noob. Good point on the clutch lever. He said the bike was slow too. That thing should have been power wheelie in the first 4 gears.
