Nice job brother. Ended up here cos I'm looking at an '81 on Kijiji. I like what you did, it looks great. It's inspiring to see a nice cafe build that doesn't cost a million and involve buying new suspension, brakes, etc etc like the ones you see in articles. Probably starting with a great choice like the cb650 helps with that. Sounds great too. 👍
Great bike, I like the big old hump at the end of the seat. Personally I would buy longer springs for the end so you end up not having this soft chopper line. Keep on
Nice build I love cafe racer I'm 17 years old from the Philippines and I'm planning to build one too someday but I don't have that much tool so that I'm saving my allowance to get one and to buy a welding machine I have a engine here and I'm planning to build a cafe racer and a chopper bike😂
Keep that imagination it will take u far. U can do anything u put ur mind to. I love hearing about young people like you who want to build and create things. Go for it.
Nice. Get the carbs synced and a new chain & sprockets. Be sure the tires are not past due as they tend to go hard (unsafe) as they age. Those older hondas will run forever. Have fun.
Ok, not bad. I really like these bikes, originals that is. But this is a pretty good looking cb650. I don't know if clip-ons were the way to go but they look good. Even though these were the "cheaper" bikes (vs the cb650 Customs) I like the spoked wheels and the tanks (they are getting super hard to find) and simple colors (black or red) - overall I could live with it. I really like the originals best, but this is a good representation of a way to "cafe" the cb650 and keep it true to the original. Just a thought, Maybe white letters on the tires????? I don't know.... maybe. I would have to mock it up in photoshop or something first before doing it though.
Nice build!! Just got an 82 650 and was looking to do basically the same thing. Question: with the front end being so low, do you run into any issues while riding?? Did you use progressive springs??
Nice work! Bike looks good and as long as its what you love thats all that matters!
THANKS FOR THE COMMENT BRICK HOUSE I REALLY ENJOYED BUILDING IT THANKS FOR LETTING ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK

Awesome thanks for the feed back I need to learn photoshop It would help alot paint is one of the hardest things to choose
Basically made yard art. For those that don't know, that setup makes the bike painful to ride even short distances.
Not really been driving it for 2 years hasn't been a problem

I haven had any issues I have 15 psi in the shocks and they work fine
Peccato, era più bella prima….
