Umm , I’m a man lol I live alone and got a one year old pitbull. Gets pretty tedious and repetitive the way I have to always be on top of cleaning up and maintaining a clean spot especially with a pup. Ur right that guys don’t be cleaning like that But that’s just a percentage Of men. Then u got a percentage who r like us and this guy in the video who be on top of their game and keep a clean place at all times. Now i don’t be going as hard as this guy with the steam cleaning and all that but with me I know consistent vacuuming and mopping, Dusting , and windex and some Lysol spray and wipes go a longgggggg way 😂

@@tweety25mit can loosen glued surfaces if contact is maintained too long. Also, if you do this regularly to the grout between tiles, make sure you reseal the grout.
Love steam cleaning. Just be careful around wood trim and cabinets. That steam is hot and can peel paint and get mess up wood

Steamers are great for cleaning especially corners, edges and just areas that it’s hard to get to. Don’t use it too much for wood furniture though as it damages the wood quicker than it would otherwise. It’s fine for sealed hardwood floors.

Elite trick is putting a couple drops of lavender essential oil in the water. Makes everything smell like a spa
Just be careful of build up. Some steamers only can take distilled water and vinegar to clean the actual machine 😊

Steam cleaning does work, although I wouldn’t use it solely on many things, especially depending on the amount of dirt and/or dust. Nothing beats soap and water.

there are many good brands all have quirks I do like Bissell, getting a steam mop was my own gateway lol can't wait to get smth like this little one but they get VERY hot so you have to be extremely careful, please don't use w/any kids or pets around, make sure they are safely kept away 🔥💦

Just a tip about white cabinetry. Most manufacturers use a product called thermofoil on their doors of white cabinetry because paint and even opaque penetrating white stain will eventually yellow with age. Thermofoil is a high grade pvc like material made in sheets that is baked onto the core material of the doors. Because of this it cannot withstand exposure to high heat for long periods of time over the years without peeling away from the MDF core material. This is why installers are supposed to put heat shields between your oven and the cabinet next to them. And why it’s recommended that you open the cabinet doors and remove drawers when you use the self clean setting. With that being said, it’s probably okay to use a steamer occasionally, but I would definitely avoid it in rental properties because should it cause damage, it will be really costly to replace any door and drawer fronts that separate or peel.
Being a clean freak doesn't correlate with getting old. I'm a clean freak, always have been. You've jus discovered a new part of urself!! The part that is sooo beyond satisfied with an impeccably clean home. Hats off!

Don't steam your cabinets. If it's wood, it'll warp and you'll get moisture in the paint/finish. If it's MDF, it'll bubble and there's no fixing MDF. It's cardboard basically. Just use a rag.
there ARE some impressive videos of ppl actually fixing MDF on here but it is quite a task - tiny but intensive 😅

Yes, I ordered a machine that I thought was a steamer, but it was some kind of scrubber which I can’t use at all. I got a steamer, and I loved it, but.... cleaning the rags afterward was rough. The gunk that the steam melts off hardens on the cloth, and your washing machine may not get it out.
It can also ruin wood and plastic.
I loved it in my oven. I loved it on grout.

For those who can’t click the link, it’s called “Handheld pressurized steam cleaner with 11-piece accessory set”. The brand is Mosche.
DO NOT STEAM CLEAN WINDOWS, The squeegee is for glass stove tops, tile, and metal surfaces, it will crack the window if the steam heats it enough
The one that comes up with the link is different than the one in the video. For example, in the picture where the stove top is being cleane, there is a blue fabric that doesn't show up on amazon. Also, in that same shot, the hose attachment is different.
