Just subscribed. Like the video. Wear a short beard and work in a cold dusty warehouse. Beard always itches ,but feel like beard butter and oil traps dust in my beard. Maybe using to much product.
Hey Dan, thank you! I enjoy your content! Typically I do wet shaving content and I refer guys to channels such as yours when they ask me about beard care, from time to time tho I get messages from fellow wet shavers wondering about my beard routine. I figured 2025 was a good time to make a few videos. Thanks for watching Dan!
Thanks for the encouragement! Glad you enjoyed the video. I was actually a little nervous lol. Not sure why, haven't been nervous doing a video in a while. Have a good week!
Great video Tobin. I don't have a beard. My wife hates it if I miss a shave and does not want me to have a beard. I did enjoy seeing how you take care of your beard. Have a great week. 👍
Thanks William! A lot of guys have asked me about this type of content the past couple of years and have wanted to make time for one for awhile now. Have a great week!
Stirling is awesome. Theyre located about an hour away from me. I picked up some of their barershop beard balm today at the barbershop i get my hair cut. Its got a really great scent and leaves my beard feeling great.
@@adrianfugate5107 agreed, I'd love to visit their shop one day! Unfortunately, it's more than an hour from Oregon to Arkansas 😊 probably best for my wallet 😂 have a good one!
Great video. I use Chicago comb#8 when my beard is longer. And I have wooden comb from live bearded that I use when shorter. Can't go wrong for the price on Stirlings beard oil. If you tap the bottom of the bottle the oil comes out easier out of the restrict top. Looking forward to the next beard video. Hope you had a great weekend Tobin!
I used to have a very long (18") goatee, these days, it's trimmed down very short. But I've always only used beard oil or jelly during the day and beard butter before bedtime. I wash it with beard shampoo & conditioners, and I use a wooden beard comb or boar bristle brush. Great video and info, Tobin.👊
@@Tobins_throwbacks Thank you, it's now down to about two or three inches. "The Bearded Mack", Beard Shampoo / Conditioner - Natural (Unscented). I love all their products!.🧔❤
Nice explanation on these products. Ive tried oils from a few artisans and local vendors but not these two yet. I have Stirling's balm that i use sometimes. I just need ro get into routine of using them more often. Have a great week. Edit: I use the wooden comb like you shown and a boar brush from one of the sets i bought long ago.
Thanks Mike, I want to continue to periodically do some of these, there are a few great ones I've found from some craft Artisans. Hope you have a great Tuesday!
Excellent vid, Tobin...keep 'em coming! I appreciate this content. I usually shave clean in the spring/summer and then grow some form of a beard in the fall/winter. I generally find that there are two issues that crop up when I don't shave: the beard hair dries out and starts to feel like straw and become unruly, and the skin underneath also dries out and tends to flake like dandruff. Both are annoying. Beard oils and balms definitely help, so it's great to get your (and others') input! I haven't tried Stirling's beard care products, but they're on my radar now. My current go is Honest Amish unscented beard balm or Bossman Brands unscented beard jelly (between a balm and an oil), as you can add EDP or after shave to them for a unified scent. Thanks again, and have a great week!
Hey Tobin. No, haven't tried PAA yet, either, but their stuff is generally awesome (love the Ascension Select razor), so it's now on the list, too. A great week to you and the fam.

Thank you! Maybe try using the product before bed? And go dry to work? Maybe that will make a difference, have a good one brother!
Great post, I'll bet this will help a lot of bearded people !
@@MK-us thanks brother!!
New sub here, thanks for the video! I have heard of this company but I haven’t tried yet

@ works great. Just tap with a finger when holding upside down. Let me know how it works for you!
I don't have any facial for those cool to see your weekend routine

Damn 18" is a good a length! What beard shampoo do you generally reach for?
