Loved the series and this! One can never judge a player until you can see the behind the scenes, the story, the interaction with team, family and friends. There are very few documentaries about tennis player's life (I remember the very obscure "The Journeymen"), but this is the best so far! Thank you Netflix, ATP and players, people involved.
Matteo seems like a really nice person - he came across here as humble, mature and just generally with a good attitude to life. I liked his comments about Rafa warming up in the corridor. I wish him well for the future ❤
THIS IS SO REFRESHING AND FUN TO WATCH! SEEING THE OTHER SIDE OF ALL THESE PLAYERS MAKE YOU THINK THEY ARE HUMAN WITH VERY GOOD SENSE OF THINGS AROUND THEM!! MORE OF THIS PLEASE!
Lol it's 2023 and the only woman (after Badosa left) is still singled out for questions about motherhood, as if every woman has the same feelings about it. I think Maria handled that question so well.
@@hyusuf4280 It's almost worse because the interviewer is a woman, but then again women can be like that with other women. A general question on parenthood would have been better, with the interviewer gauging Maria's interest in the subject before asking more specific questions, if necessary. I know they were taking off from Jabeur's part in the series, but it's really off-putting to still perpetuate asking the woman about having kids. That was the question, in a nutshell.
I mean Break Point was kinda mid, but content like this is pretty fun to watch, it’s not often you get to see top players interact for 24 minutes. Also, is Taylor Fritz’ extreme vocal fry like a condition or does he talk like that on purpose or what’s up with that? The guy sounds like an American teenage girl with that intonation…
You can look at older videos where he speaks normally. My opinion is that the people we surround ourselves with affects our nature and I would not be surprised if his girlfriend has impacted his voice to some degree.
@@henryshear5510 yeah if you listen to his gf she talks exactly the same. Initially I thought he just had a deep and subdued voice because even on court interviews he talks like that and sounds so uninterested 😅 then i realised he has this extreme vocal fry and i just find it amusing
this would be great if these guys winning trophies a little bit more to talk about those moments how they won it how was their feelings before every match especially semi and the final ,, without that they'are gonna just talk about anything away from tennis
They are interesting but. Most top players were not allowed to be followed around by cameras all year. Props to these guys for doing it to advance the sport
@@jdcharlie honestly some of them are on the way out if they don’t get it together soon. Sakkari, FAA, Ruud have had horrible seasons so far in particular. Matteo and Paula are not even top 20 this year. Paula will get back at it and maybe Matteo on grass
so she rejected that man to eventually end up with Tsitsipas? Tsitsipas was literally scolded by her mother after hitting a chair with a racket. Like wtf, she went from ''I am the father or your kids'' to ''I am your new kid''... Or perhaps i am just jelaous...
Completely lost respect for Fritz in that documentary. Talking normally when he is supposed to be enduring the most pain he has ever had the day before his match with Nadal. Goes on to win the match no problem. Drama Queen. Also, mopes around when he's losing.
I didn’t enjoy the Netflix special but I love Tennis and tennis players . I have since John McEnroe days . Videos like these are more enjoyable to watch .
Tylor was it brilliant or stupid...? It was stupid to pretend to be injured then play. Just like novak pretending to be injured while losing getting medical time out to break game rhythm and end winning. Tylor was a fraud at Indian wells. He will never achieve greatness as novak, Nadal, federer & now Alcaraz.
They have to be tbf lol, just look at the featured relationship break up with two touring players (Mateo and AT). It must take a very understanding person to date a pro tennis player who's away 11 months of the year
@@icyolives If you do not maintain technique and skill, then what happened quite recently with Alcaraz happens. The form drops and loses to very lower positioned in the ranking. This is what laziness comes from.

Easily the most sincere in that bunch
Thanks for this video ! We want more of this WTA-ATP mix !!! I could watch this video for hours !

Hearing Ruud refer to Football as "soccer" as a norwegian breaks my heart...
Casper absolutely stands out as the beautiful gentleman of them all, absent & present players!
I literally miss Mateo’s grandparents in my life. Ooooh Paola’s ring watch has taken quite a turn!

I'd love to see a running series with multiple seasons!
It’s a bit telling that they are not discussing the one moment that everyone was talking about: Tony Nadal not supporting Felix.
What happened with Tony and Felix??
@@ruo7336 When Rafa played Felix in RG22, Felix coach supported Nadal cause he is his uncle
Yeah that is wild. What's with that? Bit shitty from Tony Nadal imo
Tony was a duche to Felix. Still Felix almost beat Rafa In that match. Truly pathetic.
How dare Toni put family before his work right?
I loooove Taylor's voice and Casper's smile Awesome team all of them
