That footage right at the end! So good! The really early morning stuff is great too, despite the noise. It's very atmospheric and dramatic. Great stuff Gunnar. Shame about that other guy packing up so early! I could feel your frustration there.
It all comes down too light. While the performance at 50k iso is kinda alright for what we get here, there is no substitute for real light :D And about that person, which was very annoying was that he told me the evening before that he had experience... well, not that much if he cannot keep to a small thing like that. I was thinking if I should call him out right then and there, but I thought I just make even more trouble for the whole site if I stop him in his walk. Cheers :)
Another great video Gunnar! I can imagine you had a great time even though you missed out of the backlit session. Oh well something for next time. And I hope the person that didn't respect the rules of the grouse will stay away. what an idiot!
Oh it was insane. I never saw a Black Grouse in daylight last year, so this concert was amazing in itself, unbelievable how loud they get. There are of course no rules, but most people stick to common sense and stay long. It is even more annoying if a person that tells you that they have "experience" pulls a stupid impatient move like that. Very annoying! Thanks for tuning in, Gladys :)
Thanks for the kind comment. What kind of grouse are you refering to though? If it is black grouse make sure that you know where and then stay hidden in a tent over night. Especially if we are talking about capercaillies (if those do not come to you for a beating). :P
Thank you for sharing - Stay safe
Superb video Gunnar amazing views of the Grouse
Thank you, Col. Only gets better from here on :)
Excellent Gunnar. I really enjoyed it.
Thank you, Pau :)
Thank you. All the very best. 👍📷😎
Thanks for tuning in, Rob :)
Great video. Always an inspiration!
Thanks you, Rodney. I will bring more in Fall!
Such a beautiful relaxing video! I like it! :)
Dankø Rainer :)
Super cool moments you captured of them squaring off! Great job man ☺️
Thank you, Jeremy :) They just get more and more bold and aggressive with every day that comes.

Amazing footage nevertheless all the troubles you had.
Thank you :) More will be coming in fall!
Nå savner jeg april igjen.
Gøy at du fikk såpass bra med snø🙂
Super video. Igjen 👏
Ja, snøen var fin, men det holder seg ikke lang nok inn i lek perioden. Takk!

It's funny, we were hearing grouse in the forest just yesterday, and were trying to find a way to video them but they stayed hidden. Great video!

@@GunnarDresler The one we have here is a ruffed grouse. They mostly live in forests and are found in Canada and the US.
They seem pretty cool as well.
Hello there,
I was wondering where I could get LONG DURATION, licensed wildlife/nature videos?
Hey,
Depends on the material you need. I do license for TV productions and others for example.
