I play this and call it Hoop tag and incorporate pathways. I set up hoops on the side of the gym in 3 pathways - curvey (a circle), straight, and zig zag (a=5-6 hoops per pathway)- when tagged you raise your hand and go do the 3 pathways and your back in the game. Kids love it!
