@MARSHOMEWORLD You're welcome. Unfortunately I have removed (had to remove) the other part. We got into trouble uploading the concert of In Flames, we also taped. So to avoid anymore trouble with other bands, we will no longer upload full shows.
The intro music is taken from the soundtrack to the movie "Eyes Wide Shut," the last film directed by Stanley Kubrick. The track is called "Masked Ball." BTW, the great band Killing Joke has been using this piece for several years to open their shows as seen here:
I saw them in DC on May 9th and couldn't agree more. Incredible stage presence. Incredible show. Way more impressive than Opeth or Mastodon on that night. I've seen Mastodon 5 times, and they were MUCH better on the Crack the Skye tour.
@tnafan Absolutely the same guy. The singer has some very characteristic moves and a very recognizable voice. Compared to the performance on Fortarock (july 2011) he was a bit hoarse. I'm absolutely sure he's really singing and not playbacking, as someone once said. They use a backingtape for harmony vocals, but the rest is done by Papa Emeritus himself. I thought the Nameless Ghouls were a lot more expressive than the concert (@Fortarock) we attended. Anyway, again it was highly enjoyable.
@Toadsandbones Ja, we zijn door gedoe met het uploaden van een concert van In Flames behoorlijk in de problemen geraakt. Dus, voor de zekerheid bij andere bands ook delen verwijderd.
Saw Them for the first time in 2010, which we filmed also, with indeed a couple of hundred people. A year later their fame had grown. This venue now has a capacity of 3.000, back then about 1.800. unfortunately this band also turns mainstream. Im not fond of that, watching a performance without 10.000's who don't really understand it, but I guess it's great for the band. I like my bands to be more underground and in smaller venues like this.
Fuckin' youtube.... won't let me link the clip. Just search this key phrase to find the Killing Joke clip: KILLING JOKE "Unspeakable" Live Nottingham Rock City 30th March 2011
It is. Amazing band, although I don't really like the new record, as hipster as I am. It hasn't struck me as much as the first one, but maybe that was just because I hadn't heard it before that one.
Here I am again. In 2023. Damn that early Ghost had such a cool vibe.
amazing atmosphere!

Altijd goede kwaliteit!!!
Just saw these guys in Calgary opening for Opeth and Mastodon they stole the show in my opinion. Ghost is fucking epic in the literal meaning!!!

Interesting to see this is a different bass player back in 2011.
@CorruptZDI
A bit, yes. But I never saw a moshpit with Ghost, though :-)

The explanation of the intro is already in the discription (and has been since uploading. Thanks for commenting anyway!

@CorruptZDI
I understand. I think most of them were overwhelmed and did not know how to react. :-)
The prosthetic masks have certainly come a long way
@Toadsandbones
Geniet ervan!
@MARSHOMEWORLD
You're welcome. Enjoy
Ghost is playing for what? 300 people here? fast forward to 2019, and now Ghost is selling out arena shows .. It's crazy.

Was removed by YT.
Black Sabbath and Mercyful fate got a baby!
@ovd806 - God forbid those bands get free promotion from fans:-p
@Baldmelon
Your opinion. I think the most stupid people are those who don't like it, but still watch it and even comment it...
HAIL GHOST!!

I was like wtf is going on haha Pretty awesome band though
Completely silenced :-) It was very obvious that it was NOT their cup of tea, so I guess they have had some nightmares afterwards :-)
