They were one of the funnest bands to watch I have EVER seen and I am old and have seen a lot. I don't think its much of an act as they are all really supportive of each other " in real life" I love these guys ( and gals !!!)
I saw them 3 times and your absolutly right. Even this video doesn't give them enought justice to how good they sound live its incredible. When they played miasma live i just lost it its still to this day one of the best live performance iv ever saw. It was absolutly beautiful on the eyes and ears. I mean, something that really stood out for me when discovering Ghost was the looks and also the "acting", in a very good way, even if the music is on another level.
That 'ghoul' is rather a sign of god. Maybe even a Christ figure without the T of course. Some would say he's catalyst that just helps keep this live show bound together.
Amazing how a metal head took his well-rounded(ness) and love for all genres of music from the 60-s thru 80's and made it such a HUGE success! I love it, especially as a huge metal head myself. horns up \m/
I saw Ghost 3 or 4 years ago in Cologne, Germany and I didn't really know what to expect as I had just discovered their music (and a little bit of their stage presence via YT)... turned out to be one of the best gigs I ever attended - even though I had to go on my own which is usually a bit of a crap experience). The sound was formidable, their show HUGELY entertaining (all that sinister "satanic" stuff is offset by a stage performance that reveals them as probably the nicest, most charming and lovable guys ever)... behind Dave Grohl, that is. Of course. 😀) The music is pretty excellent throughout in embracing so many styles from so many decades. The band's musicianship also is of the highest order (as you'd expect from a buch sent by the luscious Lucifer himself, haha). Quite an outstanding package and well worthy of their success. I really came to them for the hardrock/metal but indeed I stayed for everything they got. Thanks to Satan for this band! (Come on, you gotta give credit, where credit is due, dontcha?!) 😁 🤘😈🤘
Ya know, I think Ghost might be challenging us to rise above the God/Satan paradigm entirely ... a whole lot of incredible music came from sources besides Satan ... and self-styled Christian rock is phony as fuck. Great music comes from somewhere beyond, that much is 100% certain.
Being a swede I am proud to state that Sweden, in relation to its population, is a huge superpower in the world of music. This is one of the best examples. Ok, to be fair there are three americans on stage here, but still :-)
They Rocked Grand Rapids, I still can't tell enough people how wonderful the show was. If anyone ever think about seeing them,or hasn't put it on your list, MUST SEE show
A band that never stops growing on you. Love these shows and looking forward to see them Live in Stockholm in a few weeks. Glad to see there will be more goelettes. Specially when having them within the backing vocals. Will just be pure perfection.
Semi-pro ballet dancer, also do modern, fire tricks, and some burlesque for fun. Ghost would not have to pay me to dance with them, I'd pay *them* for the opportunity to just be a part of that fucking amazing show! Just give me the costumes and show me the steps, and I'm ON! There're 8 mufukas on the stage. 2 more than Rammstein, 1 more than Flogging Molly, same number as Mighty Mighty Bosstones, 1 less than Slipknot and 2 less than Stevie Wonder. All have played the Forum, all are awesome.
Sheer joy is what this is! And it was when I saw them in Colorado and it was the best time I ever had in years at a concert. They should keep this line up they are tight!! Love these guys!!

My 13 year old daughter has really gotten into this band. I’ve heard a few songs, I know they do the big live show. I can picturing myself taking her to a show. I prefer heavier music but I’ll take one for the team.

I feel like it's ok to go to the show and not know all the songs,like if you just heard of Ghost, but Cardinal Copia has to prove himself to become Papa 4, so when we go back we will have more respect for Copia

They have their own style, like rammstein. They are really good in what they do.
