How did you go about getting permission to fly in central London?? Was it a complicated and/or costly procedure? They've turned me down in the past trying to get permission to film some architectural stuff!! Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
@@SenorSol I was clever about where I was flying. If you have drone assist you can see right where I was there is a gap between the two frz's and the march was passing it. I did have to defend my right to do so as at first about 10 to 15 met Police were going to arrest me and take my drone. After a 30 min wait while they got their drone team to educate them they said yes you are correct sir you can fly here and apologised. They gave a code to give to any other Police trying to stop me from flying.
Other that that you need to apply online 21 days in advance to fly inside the two no go zones. I don't know how stringent they are cause they could still reject your application. I had one rejected due to short notice as in I wasn't 21 days advance notice. Haven't tried since tho.

So just to clarify, did you actually apply this time online 21 days in advance, or did you just go for it using that FRZ gap?? Cheers.
@@SenorSol Just the gap bro. No application. Just bowled up and told the cops...imma fly my drone. Hehe i suspect they will still challenge anyone doing that there. All it takes though is politely insisting they can clear it with their drone squad if they doubt that its legal.

And this only shows a small portion of it. It was amazing to see all those people, there was a great atmosphere and lots of smiling faces. I stood at the lights videoing everyone coming towards me. I gave up after 16 minutes but there were still lots of people coming through. I hope this movement continues to grow 🤞🏻

As a veteran of 3 tours of NI, I felt a bit unsure at first seeing the Ireland flag. We were fighting on opposite sides when we should have been fighting a common enemy.

@@jadebel7006There was way over 20K. Wembley stadium holds 90.000 and there was close to that on the precision down the Strand and at Trafalgar Square. Just look at the Strand the whole length of it was full of people.
