I pretty much went through the whole range of emotions with this figure. First I was excited to get Wicket, then hesitant to buy him at full price, then excited again, them disappointed at first when I got in hand. But I've come back around to loving him again. He's small and a little limited, but I find he's super fun to pose. I've had no trouble getting him into the poses I want him in, and he has a lot of personality. They really did Wicket justice with this figure.
Great review, I love Wicket. Warwick Davies is a bit of a national treasure here in the UK. I recommend "Life's Too Short" if you haven't seen it... I think it's fine that the figure has no knee joints. If you look at the way he moves in ROTJ, his legs don't bend much- perhaps because Warwick was 3ft 6", his legs would have been quite restricted in the padded costume?
Love Wicket! I get peoples' complaints about the size, but there's more paint on this little guy than most standard Black Series figures. Great review! I liked the explanation for the space needed for certain joints. 👊 -Justin

Physics class with professor Robo…Two solids cannot take the same space. Action figure fans: I don’t care I want knee articulation. Hasbro: Whelp I guess Wicket is 5” tall now. Great review. I love my murder bears. I can’t wait for this figure.
If they had added some boulders for a catapult or the ewok babies in a basket as accessories (or any number of other things) people might not have complained so much about the cost. But either way he’s a must buy for me.
I have him and Chewbacca preordered. I’m really excited to get them in. I think I’m going to get Boba, the Scout Trooper, and Paploo. The way you opened his box hurt me in deeper ways.

In cutting back on what figures I get, I've mostly not been grabbing any Black Series recently, but I do want to grab this Wicket. I have Teebo and Paploo, I want all the Ewoks, and then the NECA Alf will tower over them as their king.
I can’t wait to get this figure so much nostalgia. I remember when me and my brother were kids we couldn’t pronounce Ewoks, so we just called them the teddy bear people
This figure is an easy skip for me, but I can respect that for a lot of people it's been on their wish lists for a long time. Characters like him or Jar Jar who are 'controversial' are still pretty iconic in their own way, he'd definitely be in a group shot of iconic OT Star Wars characters in my opinion, even if I'm indifferent to him. Personally I'm perfectly content with picking and choosing from the next standard wave having recently dropped here in the UK. I've been needing Andor and Luthen for a while and all those Andor series store exclusives from last year got standard releases here but at those exclusive higher prices, so most of them are now on sale and I've been backtracking.
Calling just that a single figure is kinda ridiculous, I've even seen Baby Yoda, with just the tram (not even the frog and knob) as a "single". That being said, It's Wicket, and $25 ain't gonna kill me. He looks like So Much Fun.
One question, do you happen to know what the difference is between this 40th anniversary wicket and the other black series closed packaging? Is it the same mold, paint? or is there any difference?
I don’t get it - bigger figures are deluxe or premium or whatever they call it - being more expensive, but it doesn’t go the other way for smaller figures? For a second, I thought this was 1:18 scale before realizing Robo only does 1:12 scale. It’s a good sculpt, but easy pass unless I see it in clearance.
If we pay more for bigger figures we should pay less for smaller figures, hell we didn't even need the bow and the other weapone, it would have been better to get him with only the spear for 15€. I will have to spend 30€ on this small guy...hasbro is so greedy now a days it's not even funny anymore...it's just sad
To be fair.. Wicket did a lot of waddling .. not a lot of knee movement in the movie, so this totally makes sense

I got the Hot Toys Endor Leia and Wicket set a few years ago, mainly because of Leia. Little did I realize how delightful Wicket would be? Yub Yub!

You can solve the knee joint space issue by putting the foot on a ball joint. But I guess they don't pay their engineers enough at Hasbro
