stressed about the job market and my direction in life - but you’re so right, being more mindful about what I DO have vs what I’m lacking is sooo key to better mental health 😭🫶🏼 new sub here!!
As a may 2023 software engineer grad who is doing contract work as I apply like crazy too. this is one of the most authentic day in the life i've seen out there.
This was fun to watch! Your attitude is on point. That's really 98% of what it takes to be happy and successful in life, imho. Good luck with your job search. Here's some unsolicited advice: apply, apply, apply. Always take an opportunity to interview. Do an interview loop every 6-12 months, even if you're happy in your role. What type of SWE are you looking to specialize in? Frontend, backend, data engineering, ML, etc?
ideas for your future videos! 1. monologues - i think everyone would love to see you perform some monologues, and i think you would really have a knack for it! 2. acrobatics - similar vein to monologue but we saw you doing yoga and i think the next natural step is to start doing flips and performance art! something about your eyes makes me think you have a burning passion for dance in you 3. coping with adversity - this is a real one for the fans at home - we all go through struggles and i have really appreciated your candor through these vlogs, i think we could all benefit from you sitting down and walking us through some struggles and how you as an individual cope with them
Love the music, your personality, and your videos! I am currently a CS major and I am glad I stumbled upon your channel! Keep it up, I really enjoy them :)
Hope you find another job soon! It's a good idea that you're studying and doing some work on the side. You're doing great, keep it up! Just remember to take breaks to avoid burnout if you finish any tasks early.
Omg ok sorry for the spam commenting. But hopefully my next video can be a wfh life vlog. Glad you still go out and try to enjoy time with friends. So important. 💗 k I’m done haha
@@lenainbrooklyn oooh girl well I guess technically I am a UA-camr but not a big one…yet hehe. I’ve just been trying to feed my creative side and vlogging. ✨
