  • I was messing around scanning the band on QO-100 with my new setup & heard the unmistakable sound of FT8. I decided that it had to be worth giving it a go & I ended up with a mini pileup!

Great stuff. Hopefully this gave you a couple of ideas. Let me know when you have it up & running (or if you need any help to get it going). Would be good to get a QSO with you via the satellite!
We need the offset function for transverters/satellites in Station Master (like I showed on Log4OM).

Wow! Great tip on the offset…
I’ll definitely be picking your brain on this QO100 stuff. 😊

The more people we get on there the better as far as im concerned.
I'm not an expert on satellite communications by any stretch of the imagination but I'm very happy to help where I can.
Drop me a line on WhatsApp if you have any questions.

Nice one James. I'm looking forward to some videos with you working QO-100. Your station looks great 👍

Thanks Simon. I'm sure there'll be some more videos on QO-100 when I get around to filming it!
My setup isn't quite right yet. There's a few things which need a bit of tweaking & experimenting. I'd rather make sure that I've got it completely right before I put out a video which some people might use as a guide to set up their own system.
I also want to build a portable system to try doing a POTA & maybe even a SOTA!
There's got to be at least a couple of videos in this.

@@AmateurRadioUK sounds like some good ideas. I will watch out for your vids. It's the best part of our hobby the setting up and tweaking. Have fun, I might have to get in to it myself one day hopefully. Cheers 73
