DJI Mini 2 working with iPad Mini 2 iOS 12.5.1

It is fully working with the iPad mini two on iOS 12.5.1 But not the charging features, even when it’s enabled.
UPDATE After the ios app update to version 1.3, the charging has started to work, But I’m now getting the cpu is overloaded and might affect its use, but still worked good. I had done two flights today (2nd March)and first one, never had the CPU warning, but second flight on fresh battery did. So that’s odd. I’ve now turned off all background activity and I never had WiFi on, on any flights
If you have not previously downloaded the app,
Then you would have to use a more recent device to download it from the App Store 1st to enable you to be able to download it on your iPad
Also the default cable for ios does work and is long enough to reach the iPad Mini 2
