Just found your site here. I got my Prym hooks today and am using them on an afghan I’ve been working on for a while. I have had to have hand surgery last summer for carpal tunnel syndrome and my hands are still a bit week. I’ve been using some rubber handled hooks and at night I find myself in a lot of pain. I tend to grip hooks very firmly. Well. After using this Prym hook for a few hours, my hand is so relaxed! The only con is that I feel a little bit of drag and it squeaks a bit. I’m hoping with time it will smooth out. I have some very soft yarn that feels like lanolin was left in a bit so I may try this hook one that yarn. I love this set! I got both sets so can’t wait to use more on different projects. Thank you for your review!!
I have been crocheting over 30 years. The Prym hooks are THEE worst hooks I have ever used. Every single hook I bought the hook part broke. That’s just my experience. I will not use these hooks again.

These Prym hooks R great 4 airline travel as U don't get the death stare from TSA agents compared to metal hooks when they see these in ur carry ons.
