Franklin, looks a little rough. Are you riding a road bike? What size tires? Are you pedaling or do you have e-assist? I've always heard the scouts up at Guyasuta rode that route, actually all the way up to Sharpsburg, around 18th-23rd St and then over to the camp, but never tried it. Bravo!!
Yeah, it's rough. My main everyday bike is a gravel bike with 37mm tires. This is not an ebike. I'm pedaling. I'm also deliberately going much slower than I did when I rode this section two years ago because it's more overgrown and chunky than it was then, and I also didn't want to risk a flat or running into or over something unexpected. I always stop at Etna, don't go all the way to Sharpsburg!
