I got into rehab after downloading tracks off kazaa. when southern discomfort was released I went and bought the cd this was always my favorite.... If it was not for illegally downloading music I would have never discovered great bands like this and would have missed out on buying some really great cds.
This song warms my heart. There is hope for us that live with addiction. As long as you have love in your heart and don't hurt anyone it doesn't make you a bad person. Great song.

i found these guys in 02 or 03 when a friend popped southern discomfort in my car cd player, i hadnt heard anythin else by them till this year and im soakin em up daily...the fact that some Goodie Mob dudes on Storm Chaser proves how good they were, love every song i hear now
Idk why this is my go to for when I'm in a state. But I find the beat unsettling calming, the lyrics like they were pulled straight out of my brain, and Brooks delivery to be the thing I lean on in rough times been a fan since childhood, named my channel after one of there songs, if I could tell Danny, Brooks and steakknife what they meant to me as a young teen bouncing from relative, drinking doing drugs, and coming out better after finding them. It's been a journey and I'd personally want to thank them if possible.
I was a part of this recording back in 21/22 at Zac’s recording studio in Atlanta right across from stankonio. Met lots of cool cats and was a great 6 months. Eventually they went on to use a few of my own personal songs on graffiti the world, ,… second release. Time flys niggas get old .
