Have you ever noticed how the names of some letters don't match their sounds like w and y? The name of letter Y is (why) which starts with a w sound. I think it would make more sense if letter W was called (why). What do you think?
Ii just started last month to my grandbabies. I thought letter of the week is too slow. So, i thought 4 letters at a time. Well the first 4 that came to mind was ymca. There are songs! We dance to them. Then we did aldi. The a was repetition the l was in one of their names. The c, well its for cookie! D comes right after. Lol thats my story and im sticking to it.

I use zoo phonics. We do all the letters in abc order in a 10 min. Session
