@@woogienitro I got it. I used a screw driver on the back side of that star wheel. It came off. I lost the pin though but I didn’t need it. My new brake set came with it. I’ll try them out later. Thanks for your help
Woogster do you know of a place that sells ceramic bearing kits for the whole car? Want to replace all bearings on my elite and xt over the winter any help greatly appreciated can’t wait to see jato done mine and my sons first nitro was a revo 3.3 we just redid whole truck and put the os 21 made for revo in also where’d you get that Buku clutch want to get it if it fits revo
That's so awesome that you can enjoy the hobby with your son i started out with Revo 33...tmaxx..lsts..that type of stuff definitely nothing wrong with Traxxas as far as the bearings go check on the Boca bearing site I do know that a complete ceramic kit is going to be pretty costly but yes I do believe they're out there also check with avid
Probably but if there is a heavier-duty part it would eliminate that I will use it cuz I love my bilet Baja it's all considered pushing the limits of these platforms both durability and performance for me anyways.. most of the plastic and Artie r-type parts on these platforms will not stand up to even minimal bashi lot of parts bending breaking that type of thing
I would like to know if you remember where you got the front steer hub carriers on your ba ha. Was going to get the ravan ones, but yours look so much nicer. THANKS
Jaco makes the front wheels also with the bearing! Also the best I've found for toe in is #3 hinge pin plate not sure why no one has made a zero option for these! Save stock chassi and use a low losi engine brace and can make your own big block mount that's what I did just got alter holes little just alternative option for ya! Rcr makes some nice chassis for jato also!
Jason see if you can find the part number on those jayco front because I can't seem to find them anywhere, I find it says that it's for the front but it's also a hex and I don't want to order the wrong one
This is one I found but really all got to do is search front Jaco wheels cause there is dif compounds the part # I gave you is for purple compound not sure what you use I forget what mine are been a while
Hey buddy I have a dragster for you if your going to get into the drag racing. I'm never going to have the time for it. But it's definitely one a collector and I just got the 2 speed right on it.
Damn I love your workshop!!!!
Great video.
you should also get hot racing transmission helps alot!
🔥🔥
What’s the part # for it??
That’s awesome can’t wait to get mine
Do you know how to take the star wheel
Off the jato brakes? I’m trying to upgrade them but I can’t get the star wheel off.
If you're talking about on the Baja you got to take the top plate off
@@woogienitro my bad the jato. I think that pin is keeping it on there
There's a pin with a set screw

Fonzie tough baby. Jato is lookin sick bro love the new chassis
What did you do for front tires for the Jato? Did you have to make any mods to put whatever stock tires to put on there?
No, I was lucky enough to find the jayco foams especially for the Jato online. They have the ball bearings.. might be a little hard to find
Couldnt the problem with tie rod breaking just be because your baja is a little heavy? Ever thought of throwing some carbon in there?

LOL besides she looks sick in the enjoyment out of building this platform was .. immense

Love the content, have a question do you have a part # for the proline tires and rims you run on the 8ight-XT ?
Unfortunately those tires are 3/8 Badlands and they're discontinued the rims that I'm using r d e racing rims though
@@woogienitro okay bummer. Well thank you for the info and reply back.. 👍🏻💯
There's an alternative to the Pro-Line Badlands I just don't remember what they are if you hit up the muggy Maniac he knows all about those
@@woogienitro excellent,thank you much.

From my personal experience with a metal front bumper on the jato don't crash it it will break every other plastic part behind.
Nice Vid Woogie I'm looking forward to see what you do with the Jato. I just ordered that brake upgrade kit .
Working on it as I'm typing this reply to you lol
