The current owner needs to cancel registration in Auh then move the car to Dubai and register and transfer to your ownership in Dubai. If you have an attorney, he knows for sure what is best.
Hi, confused about the rule that you cannot register car older than 15 years, does it mean 2015 model cars can only run in uae roads till 2030 only?
I know cars more than 20 years in UAE and still registered. I have no knowledge of cars to be allowed for 15 years only. I think there was a news before that 20 years is the limit of the car but for further and most accurate info, I suggest you to contact the Authority.

Bro i buy my friend car im still using under his name. Now yearly testing time now, my friend need his plate number, and new plate howmuch the charge or free of coast new number?
If you r not transferring ownership it will be around 50 if I remember it correctly. Around 200 is the dubai plate. Please get back to us if you got the latest price.

if my visa is issued in dubai but I live in sharjah+have a sharjah license, do I need to buy a car from sharjah or dubai? Thanks in advance!
As far as I know, you can only register the vehicle on your visa issuing emirates, in your case that's Dubai.
Sir Mark I plan to buy the car which is the Registration In al Ain Im working in Dxb but My visa is in AUH so i can drive the car in Dxb?
Hi. Ypu can drive the car anywhere in UAE but you can only register this in the same emirates of your visa.
Hi bro I found one vehicle in DXB n my visa is from ras al khaiamh do I can register the vehicle in DXB the company which I am working they have branch in DXB with the DXB trade license do I can register it in DXB
It will depend on what visa do you have bro even your company have many branches. Kindly check with RTA for further info and clarifications.
Bro, can u explain the process if the vehicle owner is out of UAE with valid UAE visa but want to sell the car to person in UAE !
Yes this is simple. There should be a power of attorney for the person staying in UAE whom he entrusted selling the car to and that person will transfer the car to the buyer.

Sir pano po pag un amo ko may ari ng car nsa labas na ng country need po ng (POA) wala po ako ldriving license dito okay lang po ba un? Mas maganda sa LTO nyo tanong boss kasi ang apam ko di naman pde basta basta palit engine walang go signal sa LTO e yun ang alam ko

Pwede mo benta sa mga dealership cars or buy and sell cars yan pero kung pasalo pwede naman pero sasaluhin nya in a way na mag aapply pandin sya sa bank (same loaning bank).
