Don't give up!!! Muting was definitely hard for me to learn at first (9 year old me cried over it) but once you get it down it's something cool you can use in just about any song. Keep strumming!!!

Happy to be helpful😁 I use D'addario's "Custom Extruded Nylon" set (same as Jake Shimabukuro) - they usually go for about $6 on amazon for a pack.
Although lately I've been using a Kamaka string on the A string (so if you look at my last video or two the A string is black while the others are clear D'addario strings)
