Зря не делают лопастей. Я изначально не знал, как её изготавливают и подумал так лучше сделать большой импеллер, а по бокам ракеты направить по касательной, а не вниз

Instead of using cylindrical stock i.e. bamboo, why not build the radial pieces with an airfoil section to provide extra lift when the wheel gets spinning?

From what I have seen it doesn't spin fast enough to generate lift considering how fast the vertical rockets are lifting it.

What is the material with which you are constructing the outer ring?

It was just UPVC Plastic, of which we then cut holes all the way around, to try and save on weight. We had the motors built to give maximum thrust before malfunctioning, but we had a total lift of around 18KG if i remember rightly, and we got the frame to roughly 11kg once fully built, including the motors.
      Apologies for the late reply

Thank you - I have been wanting to make one of these for years. Unfortunately I have no where to really shoot one off. All of our shows are in close proximity to building and the crowds, so from a liability standpoint our company stopped using them years before I joined the company - however during the days of sitting around tying finale chains, my boss, John Serpico (now deceased), would tell me about the ones they used to make which would go up, then a slow burn comp would hit and it would descend, then the faster comp would kick in and it would rise again. I will have to make and shoot this outside of our company - however I think I will scale it down a little from your design. Again, thank you and stay safe.

fantastic, bear in mind, this one was 8ft in diameter. We can still get smaller versions in through import, and believe we have a few 2 stage left in stock, which also explode at the end with red crossettes. But yes they are very erratic, and not many sites have the space to shoot them due to unpredictable launches. But, we do still see them in UK competitions quite often, there were loads fired by one company in the British Musical Firework Championships this year.
