    had mine just over 2 months now, 1300 miles on it, so much better than my cb125f i had. That little extra power makes a massive difference when it comes to keeping up with traffic. Done a 200+ mile trip with a friend and only used 2 bars of fuel. Highly recommend!

      @@markpulling12 thanks for your reply! It's literally brand new so a bit sluggish atm I'm assured it'll be quicker after it's first oil change at 600 miles.
      Other than that it's a great fun whip it rolls round bends wonderfully and is great fun to ride. I think my only real bugbear is the 6 gears. While you're riding around town you need to click all the way up to fifth and then all the way down, you need to make a real effort to make sure you're in first at junctions which isn't something I've had on other 125s.

      @@markd1328 nice one mark ...sounds great :). I've heard that one tooth bigger on the front sprocket and two smaller on the rear works well on these as they hit the rev limiter in top gear quite easily when run in

      @@markpulling12 this is something I'm hoping to work on in the future, having put a few hundred miles in it in still genuinely enjoying it. I'm told after it's 600 mile service it should be a bit nippier.
      Just as a side note, did you find any difficulty using the controls while wearing boots? I'm a. Taller rider and wonder if there's a way to relocate the pegs to make the shift easier to use.
      I don't think this would be an issue for younger or smaller riders but for 6'3" me it's a bit awkward with the boots on

    I bought one of these a few weeks ago and was really getting on with it ( have 350miles on it) it has its first service on Monday. Today taking it out stood up for a speed bump at 30mph and its sheared of the peg (that appears to be made of aluminium) on the gear changer side essentially making it unrideable.

Cheers for your input BTW dude, its appreciated. There's a few other niggles I have too but I'm a new rider so I'll wait until the service to bring them up, from previous reading of forums the oil/filter change should make a significant difference. Fortunately I've been able to buy a car since so I might be able to sell the problem to someone else.

    Hi Mark. Greetings Gustav from Slovakia. Thank you for a nice review of this really attractive bike. I want to ask you how the front fairing of the legs (knees) protects the knees from the onslaught of wind and so on: do you feel warm air flowing from the radiator while driving? I ask this because I am older and I like thermal comfort. I was very interested in this bike because of its design, parameters, price, weight and your review. I will be very grateful for your possible answer.

    • @markpulling12
      @markpulling12  3 роки тому

      Hi Gustav ....your knees sit well into the petrol tank and are well shielded from the wind if it's cold ....you won't get any wam air from the engine or radiator as it's only a 125 cc and these don't put out much heat from the small engine
      These are great bikes for the money and I recommend it

      Hi Peter sorry I don't know about issues past 10000 miles but these are reliable well built engines and with regular oil changes and care should be good for many years ...with Chinese bikes you must service them regularly .... especially if you are riding constantly through wet cold winters ...I'd recommend this bike looks well built to me

    14:35 Insurance over here is ridiculous - almost £1,000 for me to insure a 125cc - they don’t seem to care if it’s a £1000 or £3000 bike... needless to say I was quite shocked to see that... (Edit: I live in an area with pretty low vehicle crime so this isn’t why)

    In South East Asia, most of our 125cc bike can easily do well over 80-90mph stock. Kinda funny to see EU being so restrictive on the bike specs being sold over there. Those linked brakes is a horrible way to train new riders on how to use their bikes imo. Btw Benelli also sells the same bike here but with larger 150cc displacement. And we also have the largest engine moped in the world(185cc single) being sold here. Someone should try & import it into UK LOL.

    That's a stunner but I suspect for that reason you'd need a garage for it and I'd even be concerned about leaving it absolutely anywhere in Glasgow - there's so many thieving gits around, they steal push bikes from the city centre with 100s of people walking about... but it looks great and sounds as nice as any 125 I've ever heard (I've owned 2, and an RS100).

    The one thing that Really bothers me about this bike is the way they mounted the front caliper. That's going to get hit by curbs, rocks or anything else that's a little bumpy. For a normal motorcycle that's not such a big issue. But most who ride a 125 are very young (from 16 years old here in Norway) and they may not pay attention to small details like a curb. If the front break fails due to damaged, it gets dangerous fast.

      @@markpulling12 These are great bikes, i have the RKR and it is of course same engine slightly better performance due to the aerodynamics, The only downside as i say are those areas mentioned above, top speed is limited by the rev limiter but if you notice how short the gearing is for at least the first 3 gears it shows that the bike has been purposefully restricted within a lower rev torque limit(likely to satisfy emissions targets for eu4) the change in gearing will lower only slightly mileage on petrol and a small drop in acceleration but the bike barely touches the first two gears anyway so you will notice it once moving at speed limits. Of course all this requires a mechanics touch and is altering the bike for personal preference
