Diffie-Hellman key exchange and RSA are two common and well-known encryption algorithms that protect data from eavesdroppers. Here, we cover what each of them are and how they compare to each other.

The difficulty of Diffie Hellman is related to the difficulty of the discrete logarithm problem, not factoring
nice explanation - fast and clear, thank you !
Glad it was helpful!
Well presented; thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Diffie-Hellman is used for key exchange not encryption. The shared key that is derived from Diffie-Hellman can be used in symmetric encryption using algorithms like AES. Also to strengthen Diffie-Hellman against MitM, digital signatures come to the rescue.
Thanks ❤
There is a concept of DH groups, what do they mean?
If you're just curious about how Diffie Hellman works this is a ok video. But, if you are studying for an exam or a final or something like that, or you need to learn this for your uni or work *DONT USE THIS VIDEO*. It's full of small errors. As others also pointed out:
- The difficulty of Diffie Hellman is related to the difficulty of the discrete logarithm problem, not
- "Secure Shell" is listed for one and "SSH" is listed for the other method
- Diffie Hellman is not an encryption algorithm and the key is a symmetric key not a public key
Thanks for sharing!! We made this video to help visualize the process, and is just an introductory level overview.
Diffie Hellman is not an encryption algorithm and the key is a symmetric key not a public key, learn your stuff before you post
True! Diffie Hellman is about creating a shared secret and has nothing to do with PKI.
The video correctly states that Diffie-Hellman key exchange creates a shared secret symmetric key for encryption/decryption, unfortunately the title (which is also stated at the beginning) refers to both DH & RSA as "Encryption Algorithms".
Anyway, I get this is just a basic intro, but mis-categorizing DH is terribly confusing to somebody trying to learn this.
Please give articles free for everyone. When ever I read articles after some time to log in corporate id as I am student how can have corporate id
How is that "Secure Shell" is listed for one and "SSH" is listed for the other?
same for TLS
diffie hellman ftw
Major 🔑
With he four public numbers and some algebra the key can be uncovered 😈
