Yes little pitchers do have big ears! I overheard a story about a significant shipwreck that killed my gr-grands. The baby washed ashore. My big ears figured out the baby was like Moses. It wasn’t until a storm uncovered the shipwreck and the papers were recounting the story that it really occurred to me what actually happened. My grandmother who was six at the time had been kicked off the ship due to her bad behavior. The rest of her life she was blamed for the deaths of her parents because she had “caused the delay” that kept the ship from coming back safety. She chose to be positive and was greatly loved by her progeny.
