I got mine a few days ago, and had a similar reaction to you. Pretty happy with the final product, despite Blacklist's mishandling of the campaign and extra shipping costs in the end. I've been cranking through the enemy sculpts with some slapchopping and have about 30 of the baddies painted already, trying to combat the backlog. Really like the selection of enemies too, has a bunch of the low level encounters that I typically run anyway!
Got mine a week ago. Tragically, they are actually good quality. Hopefully the designers and manufacturer got paid.
I'm in for FS2 as well, so we'll see if I get it before 2030.
I got mine a weekish ago, they came in great shape. So sad about the mismanaged campaign and the lies told by Alex Lim and the Sadler brothers still stings.
My FLGS had these for $90, which is less than I paid with the extra QML shipping. I’m kind of miffed.
That said, the collection is a fantastic starter for fantasy TTRPG or skirmish games. Some sculpts are cartoonish like the dragon, goblins and skeletons, but some of the PCs are beautiful and the elementals, ghosts and gas serpents are gorgeous.
Those are really nice miniatures. The ghosts and slimes could be table ready out of the box.
Quartermaster Logistics saved the bacon for everyone on this KS no doubt. The extra shipping charges were quite nominal, especially after so much time had passed. I got mine the first week of the new year, looked great, packaged with care. On a side note, I had ordered these because I was looking for a cheap way to acquire quality minis after getting back into D&D and mini painting after 30 years. The long delay brought 3d printing into my sphere of interests, and before you could say 'chitubox' I had a Creality FDM printer and another KS that netted me a Phrozen Sonic mini 4k. The resin print quality is several orders of magnitude beyond the Blacklist cast product at this point, but I'm glad that everything transpired as it did. Thanks for the video!

This set has a lot of good stuff. I've gotten a bunch of it painted up already. Lots of the creatures. I painted all the automatons in different metallics. (Think I used colour shift on a couple.)
The goblins aren't my favourites in this set, either. But they're functional.
The green slime thing is very cool. I only gave it a wash to make the details pop a bit. But I wish it had been a different colour than green, as green slimes aren't creatures in D&D. (They're instead environmental hazards.) But I'll find a use for them. ;)
The kobolds are definitely a bit too big. But hey, enlarged kobolds! :D
The giantess is one of my favourite minis from this set. She was a ton of fun to paint up. I painted her to look like a Stone Giant, even if she has hair. One of my favourite paint jobs, as well! ;)
My dragon's still unpainted. I'm not sure if I like the sculpt that much. I don't dislike it. But I think I'm kinda thrown off by the huge plates instead of scales.

I believe it was in Florida QML wharehouse. I still believe the Sadlers knew what was going on and continued to lie about it and continued to lead us on. Unfortunately, I I backed Horror Series one.
Unfortunately, I went much deeper on Horror 1 because everything seemed good at the time. I pledged, got a second set of minis, and decided to get a second set of these minis too, because the price was still so good.
They're still pumping out production photos, but I'm deathly afraid that I'm not going see any of that (after already having to pay extra for this).
Edit: Correction, I did this with Lasting Tales, and in addition to what I listed, I also bought a Horror 1 box. So LT, second Fantasy 2 box, second Fantasy 1 box, and a Horror 1 box.

You mention Archon Studio, but they used to be Prodos and absolutely stuffed a Kickstarter back in the day. They’ve been good since their rebrand, though.
I don’t believe Europe’s consume protection laws had anything to do with it. They would ship out the pledges only once all pledges for the region arrived. North America had around 10k of the 16k backers, with the rest split amongst Asia and Europe regions. Thus, less items plus closer to manufacturer meant they were shipped out earlier, albeit at higher costs and using the money North American backers paid for shipping.
I finally received mine as well. I was impressed with the material used and the sculps. I had one warped base, and my dragon has a broken wing spike. time to level up my green stuff skills.
Can't wait for the Series 2 to ship... (hopefully soon)
They’re not even in regular production yet. Probably minimum three months from now, maybe six, before you’d get Series 2
I think my friends *finally* just got their copy of this set. Looks like it was worth the wait
Mine showed up New Year's Eve -- I haven't had the chance to paint any of them yet, but I'm genuinely impressed by how well they held up in storage. Got a couple wobbly bases and warped gnoll spears that a few minutes in hot water should fix, and aside from that they look perfect!
We just got ours on Sat AM and we were pleasantly surprised with the end result.
well at first the company seemed decent when backing it. it wasn't until covid spilled all the eggs and we found out that all the eggs weren't in it's own basket but put all in one basket. Blacklist had a few succesfull KS before hand so it would be a good way to start up.

I finally got mine the other day as well!
I backed the fantasy series 1, the horror one, and the fantasy series 2 because I had faith that these guys knew what they were doing and was in a much better financial situation than currently. And here we are years later no minis no money

Mine are sitting here in their boxes. I think Blacklist may have been hit by what COVID did to shipping anything out of China: Shippers could charge pretty much anything they wanted for shipments destined for the USA. Ports were backed up and container availability was almost nil. Delays caused by that could be forgiven. It hit a lot of other game companies the same way. Where they failed was communication... a lack of it and then when it did come, the veracity was questionable. I backed the second KS as well... so we will see where that goes.

The giant reminds me of those miniature WWE wrestling figures.
The minis are absolutely amazing, but they took so long to get them to me that A. IRL gaming became a non-thing due to The Coof, B. I had health issues unrelated and now C. My FLGS has closed down, also due to Coof-related mishandling. And I'd backed the second set... I'm not sure if I'll ever get to use any of them though.
We can only hope everyone gets the second site.

I was so tempted to get some of these. But I heard the rumors of problems so I just didn't. (I was interested because I got some of the first kickstarter minis on secondary sale)
Mime is attached to my Dire Alliance pledge, so I probably don't get the FS1 I paid for.
Covid didn't help either. I backed the Lasting Tales KS and gone full in, FS1, FS2 and Lasting Tales rules.

For all of those who have this … how do you think you’d feel about this KS if the initial price had been $35 higher (or whatever QML charged) and it was simply a pandemic-related delay that was the issue?
Maybe I’m just trying to make myself feel better about being involved in the second one, but these look pretty good - better than the Next Level minis from their first KS.
Considering what we know now it's pretty clear that the entire point of the Kickstarter was to garner positive feedback by cutting the margins as closely as possible. Time will tell with the 2nd Kickstarter but like I said the consumer protection laws are much better in Europe so I bet they are definitely going to get the miniatures.
Unfortunately, with the Chinese supply chain issues caused by CoVid, many companies tanked, and we found out that pretty much every KS company has thin margins. Unfortunately, the situation isn't any better with their next KS's. Time to move to Europe, or at least Poland where Archon is located. ):
No. This particular company kept their margins razor thin compared to other companies.
I refuse to order Reaper paint in winter or summer. I order straight from Reaper and shipping from Texas it boils in transit in summer and freezes in winter on its way to the east coast.

Definitely not defending Blacklist in any way here. Even if it was catalysted by the pandemic and the shipping crisis, they did their fair share of dumb and wrong during this debacle. But I think the fact that Europe got theirs first quite simply had a lot to do with chance.
It probably had little to do with consumer laws, and mainly to do with a container heading for Europe being the first they were able to get in the middle of the container shortage. They finally got a US container, at the time of the crisis' peak cost for containers, but that cost was carried by QML when they received the stuff in November 2021. Then they held it for over a year, as Blacklist continually failed to pay them(yet kept telling backers they had paid).
I think we could've seen a role reversal had a US container been gotten earlier. And then we would've had Europe waiting for its pledges forever.
Hi can you do a size comparison between maby the following brands?
- dark souls
- or Sword and sorcery
- or Descent
- or Warhammer aos models?
I know it is 28 mm model but with every brand it seems different and cant tell upfront before I buy except watching video's :D
All of the Descent stuff is 25 MM I thought? It's all pretty smaller scale. Some of the monsters are OK.

Hey so it looks like I missed the boat on this one for QML, I was not aware that I had to pay another 30$ for shipping, which I would do... Or maybe I did pay, not sure. It says my order is incomplete, and QML was absolutely no help, they said I should contact Blacklist, and I tried that and cannot email them either, very frustrating. So, does anyone know if there is some way I can rectify this?
Try your FLGS, they might have gotten in a retailer pledge. Mine had copies for $90
I hate how some companies use Kickstarter as their business model. Never invest their own money and become a Chinese drop shipper.
