The Bono region should be demanding for a better airport to serve the people from the government. There is only one reason to my comment and that is the people in this region travel a lot to the European countries, Australia, Asia, and North America at all time. It would've been a good thing if the Ghana regional ministers along with our aviation overseers had conducted a survey just to see the number of air travelers coming from every region in the country. Thousands of Bono relatives living abroad could get direct flights to Kotoka Int. Airport then to Sunyani, or just having one flight to the Sunyani Airport would be a good market for the aviation industry. When new ultramodern Sunyani airport is in a place, that would attract more investors, job creations, and tourists in the rigion.😊
1900M puts it equal to the current length of Kumasi which means it can accept the small regional aircraft (AWA Embraer 145 and Starbow Dash-8 and ATR 72 👍🏻

Why do you guys accept this cosmetic nonsense. You guys need a new airport. The runway length is inadequate. That terminal building is rubbish. Just look at the runway and how close residential buildings are. The same thing happened when other regions got modern stadium. Sunyani got some cheap rehabilitation of the Coronation Park. It is rediculous. Even the railways see how they have diverted the main route else where and Sunyani being on the sideline to no where. Who are those speaking for the region? Second rate stuff to the region all the time.
