Being in front of Dimash in Düsseldorf on April 9, 2022 was indescribable. I could not even make a video because his voice, charisma and stamina completely paralyzed me. His show was 3 hours long and sang 24 songs. We sang with him, at his request, many songs. He is the best singer and performer I have ever seen. I traveled from USA to Düsseldorf and will do it again.

👉 This song was written specifically for Dimash and the opening ceremony of the II European games in Minsk in 2019. It was the first work that Igor Krutoy and Liliya Vinogradova created for Dimash.
Igor Krutoy, *1954 in Ukrainian SSSR), singer and songwriter in Ukrainian and Honored Artist and music titan in Russia (billionaire). He is a world- famous composer who came out of retirement to write songs for Dimash. The maestro and Dimash have been working together from time to time since 2018. They are friends and have a father-son relationship.
Lilia Vinogradova. She wrote the grandios lyrics and is known as a permanent co-author of the composer Igor Krutoy, with whom has created wonderful works in the crossover genre. They created the cycle for DA Hvorostovsky, albums for Sumi Jo, Anna Netrebko, Yusif Aivazov, Lara Fabian and others. This is the second song (first 'Oimpico') that Krutoy and Vinogradova created for Dimash.
When she asked why she did it in Italian, the poet replied: “First, Italian is by definition the international language of music, the language that allows the vocalist to open up as much as possible. This is the best language for singing...
And secondly, I. Y. Krutoy and me have a well-established tradition of writing most of our works in Italian when creating in the crossover genre.”
Dimash is an opera singer too and so he sings this song in Italian (the language of music), with an opera voice (Bariton - Sopran). No one else then Dimash can sing this song alone.
In December 2019, the song “Olimpico” performed by Dimash Kudaibergen became the Song of the Year 2019 in Russia. The authors of the composition shared the triumph with the artist.

This song legitimately kept me alive during the most difficult 2 years of my life. I would listen to to Olimpico over and over and over…. I was so sick with systemic sclerosis & Lupus and some heart and lung involvement from the lupus that I could hardly get out of bed. However, now I am back to riding my bike (with oxygen) and my little dog is in the front 🧺 basket. Dimash’s and Igor Krutoy’s music has the power to help people heal!!
