Can you make video about feeding the wire? I’m talking about those few techniques of feeding, what is your favourite one, and wich one is the hardest way to do it according to you.
Hello gentlemen, In pass on,or root pass all your attentions were accurate, from the presence of tungsten and the necessary amount that should be outside of the ceramic, as well as the size of the tube gap to have good penetration to take X-rays, thank you for your accuracy.
Another video with valuable info. Thanks again 🙏. Love the tip on 5:55 about the lost connection with the puddle. Tomorow is my practice day. Feeling exhausted today, from prepearing 20+ practice pieces of tube from the scrapyard, it took whole day of inhailing rust clouds. And this video come in the right time for the inspiration i need for my practice day 😎
You are the best TIG welder/instructor on UA-cam rn. You’re killing it. So many good points and your videos are crystal clear with super helpful tips. Adding so much more to my skills & technical ability everyday, you definitely help. Great community.
Sim mestre uma bela apresentação de regulagem de amperagem distância do tungstênio e observei que ocorre uma alteração com a saída e reposição de material na onda de retorno da raíz obrigado pela orientação 🙏
Excellent welds brother. Really enjoy all your videos excellent job. Some time we jump around different jobs , different technique. It's been a while Actually over a year tig test two of them tomorrow. You're definitely help me refresh. Excellent job again❤❤❤❤
I wonder how much per hour a welder like you gets. You are my role model. Im doing city and guilds level 2 tig stainless in the uk and one day i want to weld like you
I have found that one wants enough current to “wake up” the tungsten. Up to 70-80 amps wants a 1/16 tungsten. 100+ desires a 3/32 or so. I’ve yet to go much over a hundred, as access to 220 is difficult for me.
How much should be the angle or inclunination on the bottom side of the tungsten to the pipe ? When freehand and when walking the cup but especially freehand.
Pozdrav iz Srbije! Prenosis sustinske stvari u zavarivanju, svaka cast!
I only can put a perfect root in on carbon at 65 or 70 amps never loose connection. If I go hotter it's constantly loosing connection and opening up the keyhole. I'm confused.. you move faster maybe?
Need help, I there some way how calibrate ampere? Bc my welding machine stuck on max when the display show 10A or more, less is still welding like a 180A
U deserve so much more recognition than what u have we really appreciate everything u do & the knowledge u give us whatever u do don’t give up because of lack of recognition you help out alot more people than you think your channel is literally the Only channel on UA-cam that breaks Everything down in detail & you actually take the time to explain everything u do step by step with a close up look I just wanted to say thank u & keep it up bro we recognize u & we’re learning from u I know I am & I’m pretty sure other people are too 💯👌
I'm in 2nd semester welding school so forgive the ignorance, but why does undercut matter on a root pass? You'll be doing a hot pass right after that will fill the undercut in anyway, yea?
Just realized that I've been watching your vids for months without subscribing. That's fixed now though. Shame on me, and you too if you're doing the same.
When welding bottom of pipe if I can't get cup to walk I like to finger the bottom and when u get puddle in bottom going pull rod up a bit and roll rod side to side it ropes that bottom part of bead right on in take your time and get right ..
Best welding channel on UA-cam, deserves more recognition
Thanks for your comment I appreciate that 👍

Merci pour cette vidéo 🙏👷🇫🇷
very good advice! i love it!
This guy is a beast. Top side is my biggest struggle also over feeding getting too much metal on the outside of my root, but I’ll keep practicing.

Can you do a video on when you get a little to heavy on the root an you stop because it starts to build up too much? Thanks for all your vids
Nice video! I notice welding to far and time on the bevels the root gets flatter.

Can we talk about that ruler?! Had to watch it like three times to understand what he was measuring at 3:52
9 mil
Very nice,good video.
When you redid the root pass , what size tungsten did you change to ?
I’m always using 1/8 Tungsten
Thank you!

Hey bud, it al depends from your skill set, company you work for, certifications, but generally speaking, somewhere between $35 to $60 per hour!
God bless you

Is the ampere different on every machine? If i go 130 on the root i will burn a hole in 1 second

Great Vid - is there one like if for stainless? I never seem to see stuff like 6" sched 40 stainless thanks!
What’s the tool called that you used to check your stick out ?
Help! My root keeps coming out too flat on the inside and I don't know what I'm doing wrong!

I do move faster, but you have to work on your tungsten and filler wire inclinations…
any tips so i don’t get suck back when I do overhead

What type of ruler is that?!?!?!?!? Our shop need one bad
Does the rod feed have to be from the inside?!🤔🍀
For better root penetration it is always good to feed rod from inside.
@@X3MTIG thank you 🍀🇮🇪
I really appreciate that man. No people show how it looks when it's bad and no people show how to fix it, salute 🫡

Do you walk coming up on the left side on 6g on root?
Yes I do
Hot and covers too?
I’m testing right now ?
I’m putting an 1/8 gap and using 1/8 filler rod
Does that sound right?
Best welding
Why is there so mutch slag on your root? I know it dosnt matter stabilitywhise, just wondering because it never happend to me or my coworkers
