Sadly, God's country, which has helped so many people the world over appears to be in a rapid state of decline for liberty, freedom's of all types, protection of it's citizens due to crime, dangerous drugs, gangs, election flaws, and political corruption. the 1 tour they didn't need to do..total contractual obligation. Every clip of this tour on YT makes them look like a major lack of energy in being back out there. Not bored - but without a new record to sell they seem to lack a spark that every other tour had
Id tend to agree with you. There seems to be a definite lack of spark in the performances of the classics on this tour. Add to that....Bonos shouty vocals...... As much as i adore this band (since 1982) and they are still my all time fave band, id have to say...they are deffo not the live band they once were. They seem to rely too much on fancy screens etc to carry the shows.....whereas, in the past, it was all about the songs
I was at the Miami show and it was atrocious. The sound was the worst I have heard in 40 years of concert going. Very disappointing especially after Tampa a few years ago.
Dublin was amazing. Venue was great for sound. Band were on form. Bono gave it everything. Noel Gallagher was brilliant as always too. Shame you guys got shit gigs.
I strongly disagree. Of course, they are older now and do not have as much energy they might have had in the 80s and 90s. I have seen several concerts starting with the 360 tour and I enjoyed the "Joshua Tree Tour" the best. Everybody I know also did not seem to miss a spark or anything like that. At least in Rome and Amsterdam last year the band was very motivated and powerful!

Honestly, I think that's more a function of age catching up with them than anything else. They can't move quite as much as they used to.
