- Today, I dived deep into the hardest icons to get in Geometry Dash! I made a video like this a while back and i thought it was cool to give an updated version! Enjoy!

Rob added an achievement where your level needs to get 1000 likes...
It's a bit less difficult than Geometry Star, because if you get a featured level you will get 1,000+ likes quite fast

You can complete easy recent tab lists (if it even counts)

200 lists isn't even possible as of now since there are only like 80 or so rated ones
@@danknados mhm but even when there are hundreds or thousands of lists most will still take a while, so 200 lists is still very difficult
@Chris-111 yh that's true, unless the number of 2* levels increases 3x then getting 200 lists will be pretty hard

I took this one into consideration, and definitely would put this one in #6... Its less about skill and more about time. I feel the user coins require a bit more skill, and you have to beat way more levels. Though, I agree 100% that it's an honourable mention

I’m really close to getting geometry star, cuz I had Wulzy send one of my levels to rob, so all I need is to have mods send some of my other levels and hopefully I’ll get the hardest icon in gd 😎

There will be hardest icons for me is the subzero meltdown and world icons but the tips is you need to log in to ur account and load data and save it and go to gd and load it
One Giant Leap For Mankind is currently impossible. At the moment, fewer than 5000 moons worth of rated levels exist.
What about Ultimate Coin? The one where you have to collect 160 secret coins? This means you have to complete the map packs where 80% of the levels in there aged like fine milk, terribly.
is it worse than making a LEVEL WITH 20K OBJECTS AND A WEEK OF EFFORT INTO IT?

And something that makes Geometry Star harder is how many people RobTop has robbed of levels sent by mods. So many levels are sent by multiple people and still never get rated

@@scr3pmasbut the icons are just for cosmetic and the only things in geometry dash that you should be proud of is beating a very hard level, having lands of stars,having hundreds of demons, and making a great level that people love. The players will remember you for verifying the hardest demon and making the greatest level not earning that icon

The bubble ball was a ball I wanted pre-2.2 and now that I found out that it is that hard to get I'm sad.

Alright, how about the icons from GD Meltdown, Subzero and World? They can't even be updated with 2.2's features so there's no way to sync your 2.2 account to the spinoffs since they're older versions
If your account was made in 2.1 you can sync your account on those spin-off games to unlock those icons and save them,even though the icons of those spin-offs can't be loaded in the full version back in 2.1 it will still be in your account's data until update 2.2 will be released,so expect those account who played back in 2017 have those icons unlocked in their icon kits.

Oh god if you want to play online on consoles these days you have to pay a subscription (Nintendo online membership, PlayStation plus)

@@alccoderonscartch7909For Nintendo's case, they will probably let you play online without it, like they did with Fortnite, because it's really mainly how the game works.
@@RipLeEpic a platinum trophy is the same as getting an achievement that needs every other achievement on PlayStation consoles (PlayStation uses trophies instead of achievements)

500 demons is really not that hard. There are like 2000 easy demons rn and each should take you like 100 atts

@@Unkn0wnYT. fair enough, you'll get better soon if you keep playing. Its an exponential increase. I remember when i couldnt beat 6 stars, now it takes me like 50 atts to beat your average easy or medium demon

@@Unkn0wnYT. i havent really played many medium demons. Most are noticeably harder than easy demons. I think lava temple got moved up to medium demon, its easy if you have good ship control and basic timing control. And the post 2.1 medium demons are in general easier than the 1.9 and 2.0 medium demons, harder to learn because of the deco, but easier gameplay
I love how both the 5th and 4th place are my favourite ball and robot (im gonna go insane for this grind)
'One Giant Leap For Mankind' was one of the only achievements that was literally impossible to get upon its release because you couldn't even get that many.
I'm glad about the placement of Geometry Star here, it really takes so much effort to make a starrate-worthy level and *EVEN MORE* luck to get a moderator and then ROBTOP to see it.

This is why I use icon unlockers. Not finna waste my life on the funny square jump game
The last one is just so easy for talented creator but for someone who can't even decorate, that will be so painful, and that's not even the part where robtop choose to rate it or not.

honestly the 1K likes achievement might be harder than the star rate achievement. MANY rated levels don't break the 1K likes mark, especially if they aren't featured. some non-rated levels will break the 1K likes mark but it's very unlikely nowadays

I love level editor games and used to play GD all the time, I had an level called Colorful Chaos that I genuinely think could've been rated if I finished it (not hall of fame, but at least featured). Unfortunately after about 7 seconds of playing the decoration stops because man it was time consuming :P
Although there are many practically free icons from chests, I like the hard ones. It brings way more fun and purpose into playing the game.

Bro, I play GD on Mobile and I got the Geometry Star UFO AND that Icon you only get when you get 1000 likes on your level. And I've never uploaded any level to gd before. Is it a glitch? Is it rare? Can somebody explain?

Currently, there isn't even enough rated platformer levels to get the 10,000 moons achievement.
The last one is not even hard, it’s impossible

The person with the most moons (EsotericHydra i think) is still at like 3000 moons lol
Now it's around 4.4k moons. And as someone that has 3k moons I think getting that icon will take at least 100 hours of playtime, not to mention another 4 or 5 months until there are even that many moons to collect
My only favorite ball is the bubble one, its like a small cube trapped in a bubble, and it just look silly and funny
I think one of the hardest achievements is “200 Lists, One Legend” because you need to complete 200 lists, which (if you need to complete at least 5 levels to get a lost reward), means you need to beat over 1000 levels
I mean the 25k stars icon takes at least 2500 levels (and that's if you only beat demons)
Another one is a shop where you have to get 160 secret coins. Which means that you have to play through all the map packs
not all of them, you can skip two demon packs or four non-demon packs

With the new 164 coin max and highest coin achievement being 160 (previously 130), you need to beat 7 more demon packs.
Robtop: f##k it lets add a achivement where you have to get a godlike rating

People might go out of their way to do some progression skips for 500 demons. Like they would just beat straight up extreme demons.

So, you're telling me that there is an icon that less than 5000 people have? At least with Geometry Star, it's decently easy once you learn how to create and send your levels to mods. But 25000 stars needs time and dedication which most people don't have. Plus, playing easy levels can STILL be inconsistent with difficulty.
I always forget that being in the top 1000 means I have more stars than pretty much 100% of players. And I can confirm that most people probably couldn't grind to 25k, you need a lot of free time and rob gives some really wrong ratings for some levels (like "cherry christmas" or "gravity zero") which makes things really painful, not to mention that way more levels than you think just have terrible gameplay

If I beat 10 demons a day for a month I can get 500 demons. I can beat 2-3 easy demons in an hour. So if I play GD for 4 hours a day, only playing easy demons, I can hit 500 demons.
Doable, but ultimately a waste of time.

My school Wi-Fi sucks (and I sometimes pull out gd mobile in there sometimes) and my level achievements glitched. So now I have the 500 like achievement and the star rated level achievement
Im hoping to get these all legitimately in the future but I do not have the skill
Ngl there are more people.with rated levels than 25,000 stars... Being good creator that is recognised is hard, but 25k stars is skill, and dedication
i think people are starting to overrate that achievement, like sure getting a rated level is hard but now all you really have to do is watch some tutorials do like a 6 stars level and hope a mod sees it
