The book thief is a fantastic read, defo the best book I've read this year so far, I would also suggest getting it on kindle till it comes out in paperback x
@@emmaboyce407 I keep hearing the best things about the book thief! I need to get to it asap!! Sadly I don’t have a kindle 😫 have been debating getting one lately but I’m just not sure how much I’d use it, I LOVE holding a paperback 🤓
I recently read the book theif and don't be intimidated by the length. It was one of my favorite books of the year. It definitely stays with you after you read it.
this is how to lose a time war is such a good book and a quick read you could knock that out in a day i bet and you wont be disappointed :) loved every piece of it
So I believe A Good Girl's Guide and Inheritance Games are super fast reads, so those should be quick. And Book Thief is a great unique take on Germany during WW2. It has a great pov of the people living there who didn't agree or disagree with Hitler, but just tried to live. So good! Also, I had no idea Good Girl's Guide was a tv show! Thanks for the info!
Oooh okay yay!! Definitely need to get to these three asap then 🩷 And I hope you like the tv show, it looks really fun from the small clips I’ve seen 🥰🙏
I don’t know if you are able to read multiple books at once, but I recommend reading This is How You Lose the Time War one or two letters a night. They are dense and poetic, so the little snippets make it manageable and help you savor it.
That’s actually a really great idea! I forgot the book was told through letters, so I feel like tandem reading it with maybe something easy and quick will be good for me 🥰
Oh my god I read If He Had Been with Me and for ages after finishing.. I just sat and stared off into the void because I was empty from crying. Like holy heck it's a SAD BOOK. But it's SO GOOD. I also listened to The First to Die at the End audiobook and ADORED it! If you enjoyed the first one, you'll love the 2nd one! Though I am a huge fan of Adam Silvera too! (Really looking forward to the 3rd book in the series 👀)
Ugh this makes me even more excited for if he had been with me! I want to feel empty and stare into the void too 😅🤣 Ooh I actually didn’t know there was a third one coming! That’s exciting, I better get on with the second one lol 😅
@@_floharvey It's SO good! And I'm giving it a break between, but will eventually read If Only I Had Told Her which is from the boys perspective. And I know 100% I will have the exact same feels 😂😭 And yeah i'm SO excited for it! Not spoilers for it or anything, but once you read the 2nd book, the 3rd upcoming book is going to mean so much more. VERY excited!
These three are sitting on my physical TBR so I'd love your thoughts to encourage me to read them lol: The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes The Book Thief by Markus Zusak This is how you lose the time war by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone I read and loved this one so hope you enjoy it, too! Can recommend: Red White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston This one is high on my wish list to purchase and I've heard nothing but amazing things from people with similar book taste to me so would love for you to read it since I love your taste in books: Open Water by Caleb Azumah Nelson Overall, just hope you enjoy your reading and look forward to your thoughts on any of them!

Maybe we need to buddy read it😅👀
I have 24 books left to meet all my annual challenges this year. 😂 Hoping I can read them, but we will see, as I get distracted by other books.
I have the exact same problem haha! Hopefully we both get through our challenges 😅🥰

I have literally seen the Intermezzo paperback in every bookstore. Like, girl, where do you live?
Stop 😭💔😅 I’m in the UK (I don’t think we are getting the paperback until next May 🥲)
I love Sad books too! If He Had Been With Me was just okay in my opinion. The other one is on my TBR still though.
I’m so intrigued to see what I think of it 🙏
ACOMAF YESSSSS, way better than the first.
Ahhhh I’m scared but excited!! I think it’s finally time 👀😻

So you would read anything set at a writers retreat? I got a challenge for you then: look up Haunted by Chuck Palahniuk.
@@myepictbr6968 I just looked it up… it looks creepy 😅😅
