      Capitalism simplyeana the right to private property. This is something that people seem to not understand. Racism is a biproduct of imperialism, not capitalism. Nobody ever fled capitalism, but time and time again masses of people flee from socialism. Seems pretty clear which is the evil

      My aunt knew him briefly before his assassination. In the 60's there wasn't a whole lot of knowledge about the terrible and agonizing disease of sickle cell...outside of it being believed that only we African Americans were burdened with it. As it is hereditary, my father (my aunt's and uncle's youngest sibling) was often in tortuous bouts of great pain. My aunt had been listening to Chairman Fred and reading the black panther news. The combination of the two is what first made her think my father could have been suffering from sickle cell disease. She took him to get a sickle cell screening done to see if it was indeed what was going on with my Pop. Sure enough indeed, it was. She decided to go to medical school after high school and learn more about this dreadful illness. Chairman Fred helped more than he'd be able to even fathom if he were still alive. For when I was a baby and would cry and be inconsolable, Pop recognized my favoring of a/multiple limbs, or how much more/louder I'd scream and cry when being held and either my arm or leg would be squished between my body and whomever was trying to hold and console me. I was about a year old so it had to be in '95 when my parents took me to get an SS screening to see if I had SS like Pop did. And I did, technology and studies in/on the disease were so advanced when I was screened in the mid '90s to the point they were even able to tell my parents what strain of SS I had. 14 years later my, now wife/then gf, and I became parents at 15. One of the biggest fears and most reoccurring nightmares were me being in the place of my Pops and my son being in my place as a child when I'd have a SS crisis. I don't think I'll ever be able to forget those nights my father would call out of work and stay with my mom, my siblings, and me. Holding me and rocking me in the red rocking chair my grandmother gave my father when my parents found out I have SS (that rocking chair was the same she'd she sit in and rock back and forth in, praying all night for my Pop 's relief. Some nights it was all that would work to sooth his pain and give him enough peace to rest). He'd hold me and rock, and pray, and weep. At 28, I can still remember the feeling of my tears AND his rolling down my face. Mine, bcz I was in so much physical pain, Pop's, bcz of the emotional pain and memory of how tortuous the pain is and as he'd hold me, he'd rest my head beneath his chin. When his tears rolled down and off of his face, they'd end up landing on mine. All praises to Yahweh and Yeshua, my oldest son only has the SS trait like my mom and a few of my siblings do. I was more prepared for fatherhood two years later during my senior year when Queen let me know that we were now expecting our second child, but the one lasting fear was if this child would have sickle cell like I, a few of my brothers, my lil sister, and father had. Yet again, the screening showed that he only had the trait like his older brother. 3 years ago, Queen and I had our first daughter. The signs my Pop witnessed with me, and my aunt witnessed with him, were the same my lil princess was exhibiting. She is still a great and beautiful blessing from Yahweh, but it is hard to see her in pain. It crushes me every time bcz I know that pain all too well. But look at what Chairman Fred and the black panthers did 3 generations of my family and millions of others. When my aunt and uncl3 (she met my uncle at a BP meeting and they eventually got married) tells me things she learned from him and the panthers, or things she witnessed this great man do and all during his early 20's. I can't help but feel like you do, my beloved extended family member. Oh, I'd give a kidney to be able to get to meet and know Chairman Fred Hampton or Huey Newton and be able to tell them face to face how thankful I am that they stood and they fought, that they lead and they taught, that they fed and they brought up great change that not only made the world a better place then but even now. For my baby girl and I have medication and supplements and studies that have helped improve our lives with this awful condition and the seeds of that started from the panthers.

      Socialism unites people in term of equal misery, do you really think the people that create the system would abandon their wealth for an ideology? Lol never. Hampton had great potential but leading people to believe socialism will save them was a wrong move.

Capitalism doesn’t bring equal wealth but it gives opportunities to everyone who is ready to work hard and that’s equality of chances. Those who killed Hampton was the FBI, they killed a lot of people who were a threat for their system.

      @@therealfirelord Dude. Hampton was literally feedings tens of thousands of people for free. The Black Panthers managed to set up 13 free medical clinics in the few short years they operated. The Black Panthers also offered free political education classes. They did all of this through community socialization. And they did it effectively. So I don’t know how you can say that what Fred Hampton and the Black Panthers were bringing was “equal misery”.
      Again, sounds to me like you’ve bought into the propaganda created by the United States government.

    • @therealfirelord
      @therealfirelord 3 роки тому +1

      @@themeerkat6034 let’s be clear im talking about politics not volunteering that’s 2 completely different things. Also i didn’t say « black panthers bring equal misery » what i said was pretty clear but you managed to distort my words. Socialism in the political sense brings equal misery, that’s the point. Now collectivism in that case was managed by a group of people not the government, it’s different. People who wanted to help, did it.
      Now what black panthers did is great, that’s what happen when people have control over their decision, socialism takes that control and gives it to the government, easy to understand.
      I really doubt they knew what socialism is since they didn’t have all the informations but only definitions of things.
      Btw im not even from the US, im from Europe. No need to live in the US to know all these things. Everything is available in the Internet for those who are willing to learn.

      Ain't nothing compared to the FBI file they gonna start when you start organizing within your city. The FBI does not like the revolutionaries we assign ourselves with, but that ain't a reason to get off the backs of the capitalist pigs in order to shine a better tomorrow for your kids and your kids' kids
