- Anfibio Nano rtc, ultra lightweight Packraft.
After a few times testing out the Nano RTC by Anfibio it has really grown on me. Here's my short review of the Anfibio Nano RTC.
Initially I thought it was a really lightweight packraft perfect for short river crossing and short paddles but after a while it has really stood out at being much more than this!
Packing up really small and weighing just over 1 kg, the Nano RTC is in the ultra lightweight range of packrafts.
The Anfibio Nano RTC has a unique way of allowing yous to store gear inside the packraft. Unlike the standard dryzips you find on other packrafts from MRS or Alpacka, the Nano RTC has a Roll Top Closure (similar to a dry bag).
The RTC also allows you to adjust the length and buoyancy of the packraft.
It is made from 3 pieces of 210 TPU as opposed to most packrafts that have 11 panels.
It costs €399 (£340) and is a great little packraft that can be used for so much more than crossing a river or paddling out to a secluded island for a night, but I still wouldn't want to be paddling the Nano RTC for a long duration.
Utilising the packseat will give you a more comfortable paddle but this packraft can be paddled without a seat or by utilising your camping gear by either sitting on your inflatable pillow, mat and using your bag as a back rest.
Retailing at €399

Brilliant to watch. Thanks so much. As far as I know there's nothing even close in Europe in the price range, is there? I was originally literally looking for something I could stow a pack in while swimming across lakes, downriver when there are no paths, etc., but no one seems to make such a thing.
There are swim float you can store bags in I believe.
Beautiful review, nice little packraft
Thanks.
Had my eye on this for a while. Thanks for the (English!) review Martin. Would be interesting to see it used on an outing, to see how it works with some gear inside.
Thanks. I don’t have this anymore sorry. It was a really good packraft and sorry to see it go.
Great review! Got mine 2 years ago and especially with internal storage I used it as my ultralight ToGo more often than originally planed (e.g. for oversea travels), due to its light weight and the ability to pack down to the size of a shoebox.
I agree with the preference of elongating the stern, and the minus I could think of is the absence of a fin holder, since it does tend to sway during longer trips.
I originally taped one on with waterproof duct tape in case it turns out to be a hindrance to roll the RTC into a tight package, which it didn't. Surprisingly the duct tape held up for around 10 trips, after that I used TPU-glue for a more permanent solution.
I also got the 480g Anfibio Fly paddle to go with it, mainly because the longest part is only 49 cm and therefore everything fits nicely into a small 20L daypack. Off course it is not meant for serious paddling, too nimble and thin due to its weight but good enough to cross a river or a small lake.
Yes it does yaw a fair bit without a fin but I’m sure something will be in the pipeline.
I was thinking of taking it with me to Norway next year on a hiking trip as a means to get 4 of us onto an island for a overnight camp
Great video!
Great review! If you don't mind me asking; how tall are you and how heavy are you? Been looking to buy this, but I'm uncertain about the 'regular' or the XL.
I’m 183 and weigh 95kg. I’m at the maximum weight really with a 10kg bag. Link to the product: www.packrafting-store.de/?wsa=cj1bi35ed12fd and a 5% discount code: Vildmark5
@@Vildmark Thanks for the quick reply, as I am slightly heavier than you I should probably go for the XL.
@SilentDude95 sounds like the best idea. You don’t want to look like a submarine.
It's between this an the Alpha XC for me. I'll b buying one of them next month.
If you’re interested in this packraft give me a shout on info@vildmark.co.uk
Вот это вообще конечно круто, куда-то на рыбалку такой взять, тут еще и TiZip в комплекте сразу, преодолевать реки очень комфортно.
