Once when I was a multi op I ended up with a way out of town wedding venue that had shag carpet on the walls attached to a bowling alley, while my guys were working primo gigs in Indianapolis. I booked myself first and my shag carpet couple paid the same as a fancy venue weddings. I was not happy but that’s the way the dice rolled.

nice vlog. I agree, video guys should have their plan B, or assume a speaker has a 1/4" jack out (like most) and yes dont go overboard like Justin Kanoya or Rick web, fuck them if they dont have adapters and shit.

@Jaden not for a gig 3 hours away. You may as well hired a helicopter or at least an Uber or found a guitar center in town. Or improved. I once forgot a HDMI for a presentation so I unplugged one at one of the TV's at the hotel. I put it back afterwards

Awesome content. I honestly think that if they hire you, you should be prepared whether you are a DJ, photographer, videographer, whatever. I may be wrong, but I shouldn’t be responsible for your equipment. Just my opinion I will help out in anyway I can but just don’t assume it’s in my contract.
Right, it would be amazing if they were always prepared. I’ve seen to many times they don’t have the right cable or batteries. So I carry them with so the event isn’t ruined

What kind of shit is this? If you sign a contract you should perform regardless who is the client. Also, when you hire a company as a multi-op you should assign the DJ to the couple at the beginning.
