ASE A8 Test Prep #1 - Distributor Ignition

There will be 8 questions about the ignition system on the test. There's 2 main types of ignition systems. This video focuses on the distributor ignition system. This video shows a basic setup, what each component does, and how to test the most important components. This video shows how to test an ignition coil and the basics of distributor ignition.

Update: After taking the test, I see that this video shows you the foundation of ignition systems. This is very important to know (such as no spark could be the result of a failed CKP Sensor) The tests shown after 3:49 did not show up on the test, was not asked about them. I would say only the first 2 minutes are relevant for the test. Seems like Distributor Ignition (secondary circuit) is cut out from the official A8 test.

I have 6 so far now I only need A2 and A3 which I will use your videos!
