Enrique Basurto is a mathematician, statistician and data scientist with more than 20 years of experience in international scientific research with important multinational firms in Europe, Latin America and the United States. He has co-authored dozens of scientific publications and has participated in hundreds of commercial and academic research studies in the pharma and biotech industries.
Enrique is the father of 2 boys ages 9 and 11, both diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. After more than 5 years of searching for treatment alternatives for his boys, Enrique created the Autism Research Coalition, a non-profit foundation that seeks to join forces with doctors, researchers, opinion leaders, NGOs and private companies to educate parents and health professionals about treatment for people diagnosed with ASD, and to promote and fund vital research to find answers and treatment alternatives for Autism.
