    GEEZ!!! Here I never thought I'd watch a WNBA game until CC came along, and now, I might actually watch golf for the first time. The kid has that 'it' factor, too bad she's not appreciated by the WNBA league itself.

      The worst thing is, if I call you a mental midget for asking a ridiculously stupid question--one which you know DAMN WELL you have the answer to--you'd get offended. People like you--who love to play dumb--are directly responsible for the state of the country. YES, it is THAT serious.

      The more they try to hold her back, the bigger and better she gets. All they had to do is give her assist of the year but no they had to give it to Chelsea Gray who was injured half the year and is not the same player she used to be. And now it’s a huge news story that makes the WNBA look petty.
      Maybe one day they will understand. If not, I can see her leaving if Unrivaled grows to 5v5 and becomes more of a legitimate league. Whenever she goes, 90% of current WNBA viewers will follow.

    This was a fabulous presentation, as are your others. I can't imagine what the problem is with the WNBA. They appear to be so clueless, it's becoming clear why they've never made a profit. CC is not the only great player over the last few years but she's the only one that brought fans with her. If it was only up to the WNBA, she would still be a secret.

    I love what you’re doing, Swish. Keep it up. :-)
    Any entities that don’t feel threatened by Caitlin are embracing her star power. Sadly, the WNBA feels VERY threatened by her. They feel she takes their thunder, as well as the thunder of players THEY would rather have it…Reese, Wilson, etc. if they would just embrace CC, everyone would benefit. Again, sadly, they don’t get this and might not ever understand.

    Sports fans who were drawn into the W are still mouth's agape at the W's inability to capitalize and their overt campaign to diminish her stardom. The two benefits of that have been the galvanization of her old and new fan bases coming to her defense and not overexposing her. This is a well timed offseason event but proceed with caution.

    For the most part, the WNBA is not treating Clark like just another player. They have treated her like $ hit. Clotheslining her, tackling her, and knocking her to the floor, regularly, with not many repercussions for the aggressors. The LPGA is smart and know what they have got. At least she shouldn't be used as a tackling dummy with them. I believe she has potential to be a very good, if not great, golfer, and make them, and her, some big money.

  • @rlrudedog
    @rlrudedog 5 днів тому +3

    Problem the WNBA, even with commissioner of the NBA, both and upper management are scared of some players in the WNBA. Do not know why only some top players are the bosses of the WNBA not the coaches or commissioner. They do not like Clark for obvious reasons. Mainly, she is better than any of the players present and past. She is in the WNBA to play woman basketball not an activist on things not basketball. I would rather her play in the NBA than WNBA. I wish her well on her golfing. I may not get to watch not having ESPN, LGPA, Golf and the others.

    The WNBA has learned nothing about Caitlin Clark. The WBNA management and a lot of the players have refused to believe or just lie about the CC Effect being largely responsible for increased attendance, viewership and merchandise sales. And now it appears that the WNBA is freezing out Caitlin Clark from WNBA promotion. The WNBA used Chelsea Gray for the making passes video. Wtf, didn't Clark set WNBA records for single-game and single-season assists? In the THE POWER OF THE LOTTERY the accomplishments listed Clark making the All-Rookie Team but didn't list her making the All-WNBA First Team. They used Clark in videos where it was unavoidable. I believe that the WNBA management believes Clark will never leave the WNBA for an overseas league or elsewhere; Clark may prove the WNBA wrong after her contract expires.

    This is amazing but Caitlin is an amateur. If you know about golf, it’s extremely competitive at the top levels even with the women. She has about a 10 handicap and that’s great for an amateur but she currently be a top pro. And that’s fine. She’s a basketball player. If she loves golf, she should play more pro-am events.
