- Edmonton Expo 2024 marks my FIRST FULL YEAR of artist alley! This was my first ever con (you can watch that chaos here: • 🌷 My First Artist Alle... ) and now it's my first time re-attending a convention as a vendor! After expenses, I actually didn't do as well as my first year which is a bit disappointing considering how many new things I have, but I still had a good time! The best part about attending these with my friends is I never really have a bad time haha
PS. EVERYONE SAY THANK YOU JOE FOR HIS KINDNESS, he messaged me offering to purchase a couple bouquets to giveaway to strangers, and it ended up with some super-cute interactions. He's always leaving mildly unhinged comments but he really is a nice guy!

I’m very glad the people who got the flowers enjoyed them (I was secretly hoping everyone you tried giving them to thought it was weird and creepy and you’d have footage of people calling the staff on you). 2nd largest mall. Mall of America still reigns supreme (almost got arrested there once. Mistaken identity, to be fair I was wearing the same color clothing in the description. We all had a laugh about it afterwards). When you buy bananas you should wrap the stems in either plastic wrap or aluminum to slow the ripening process. Makes them last way longer without browning (which you could still use for smoothies or breads). 2025 is going to be your year. You’ll know which cons to avoid. You’ll apply to bigger cons (SacAnime summer, AX). Everything will work out, I have faith. The PC situation is getting out hand. At least blur it out when you film in that room. Happy birthday.

Everytime i feel wore out (still building inventory for first event), i think of you and your progress, and it helps keep me going. Flowers are so exhausting but i love plant stuff and the journey so I'm not giving up!
I cant decide whether or not to get your 3 ply or 5 ply yarn. For flowers i use 3 mm hook, its as small as my wrists will allow me 😂 I'd like to produce nicer looking flowers that arent overly large and gives that realistic look like yours and some other flower makers.
I had to let go of most my real life friends due to a break of trust - so when i watch your videos it makes me feel like i have a friend. I hope i can find real life friends someday, sorry not trying to sound pathetic over here 😅 Anyways, i guess what im saying is thanks for doing what you do.

Thank you so much Christina!! I love that we're kinda on the journey together 👀🩷 it sucks when friendships fall apart and to be honest for the longest time I've also not had a large friend group!! But doing art has made me a bit more extroverted and I've definitely made a lot more friends in the last year than I've made probably in the last.. 5 years 😂
Ps. I use 3ply with a 2 to 2.5mm hook most of the time so 5ply is definitely a little nicer on the wrists!

Hii yes I've been meaning to but I usually crochet batches of flowers at a time, and then pack them all up right before a con! So my process is usually just making the same thing over and over again each day, and the flower changes depending on the day 😅
They always turn out.. kinda boring bahaha
