I hope me asking this isn’t too invasive but are they all still in the land of the living ? I really love this
My, My. Such gifted voices. Are any of them still alive? They didn't get the recognition that they were so deserving.

Alfreda is not playing with those hand claps
😅😅 hard clapping, hard sangin lol
Yes, those double hand claps were on point. But the drummer was doing his thing too.
Jesse Dixon on Organ and a very young Thomas Whitield on Piano.
That dang on Alfreda could CLAP!!!
LOL
😂😂‼️
I've never played this only once...always at least twice. From the very first time I found this clip years ago this drive DEMANDS a repeat or two.
That double clap at 0:25 🔥
Think that's Jackie Verdell
@@davidrowe9909 It's Alfreda Davis. That lady could clap the WALLS to shaking. Her hands sounded like a drum set when she went to work with them!!!
They are so powerful , I felt like I just experienced an ENTIRE CONCERT in less than 2 minutes.
ENNN TY YUHH
Mrs. Ruth and them Davis Sisters killed that. They had powerful voices.
Had no idea this song had been around for so long. We sang this in the youth choir back in the early 2000s and I thought it was new😂
That's the beauty of Good Ole Gospel Music. If you sing it like a new song it FEELS like one!!!
My Mother loved the Davis Sisters she had all their album’s records. This Song brings back happy memories doing household chores while this song played in the background ❤
I love Ruth Davis' rough voice, that is Good Rough, I love it!

Ruth Davis is the lead singer.
Their names are slipping my mind but the parts are tenor soprano alto from left to right soloist in front
They really could have sung this for 20 more mins 😅 that would have been alright with me
