I was reading Revelation about the 12 gates. Saying when I was young there was a song about that. So I googled it, And there it was. So many years ago. Amen
Had to hear this song because I am reading a book with the same title by Daniel Black. The book mentioned the song as well. Being that I didn’t grow up in a church I had no idea what the song sounded like. I love it! 😍
We had to sing this every 4th Sunday didn’t know what I was singing as a ignorant child but I know it was one of my favorites and I couldn’t wait to see this city 🤣🤣 I’m so thankful Whoever is uploading these videos keep doing so before they’re wiped out Check out the other version of this song it’s 🔥 ua-cam.com/video/VXKY6uD6vrY/v-deo.html
This song always moved me when the senior choir sang it in our Baptist church. Through study, I learned there was a legendary city in Africa that had 12 gates.
Revelation 21:9-27. HalleluYah! This was the picture painted way back in Numbers chapter 2 🤤🤗🤗 when true Israel was led out of captivity and had to organize themselves according to thier father's household....Abba Father has not changed his intentions for his people! He's coming back to establish his kingdom for the rest of eternity, that those who are found in the household of faith may reside/encamp in his presence forever!!!! HalleluYah! HalleluYah! HalleluYah!
The Davis Sisters. Talking about some sweet memories. 😁 My Grandmother was a preacher. We knew it was time to get up, get ready, eat breakfast and get ready to go to church. That rich, pure, raw voice of Ruth Davis lead singer., praising the Lord. 😁
That organ intro is powerful...and then that piano is hanging right in there with it. Those dominant 7 chords just make you pat your feet even if you're not a Christian.
Praise the lord 🙌 🙏
